Hmm... the irons don't cut through the hinges in the bot lab. Must be the wedge flex.

Oh, and the MEs are there because I had 7 kg left. Making the wedges longer would kinda ruin the look, so I just placed them there are sacrificial extenders.

Welcome to Pwn's fail IRL showcase 2012

My very first attempt at using a Judge burst. And it's glitchy. But yeah, I guess that's to be expected when you chain stuff like that.

And that's also my first attempt at making a scoop/dustpan without custom parts. Sadly, they can't pick up anything, so I'll most likely ditch the angled sheets for something else.

So you did Burst>Piston...
I always found Piston>Burst less havoky...
Better than GK since 2009.
I think SM is a pretty cool guy, eh builds unicycle-bots and doesn't afraid of anything

So I fixed Sky Shark, and in turn made it slightly less original:

Wondering why there's a Typhoon tooth sticking out?

My original plan was to make it a flipper+damaging clamp (hence sky+shark). But I ran out of weight on the first prototype so I turned the wedge into a scoop instead.

I have yet to check whether the VDMA holding the Judge burst is actually beneficial or just a waste of weight. Of course, I'll never know when the wedge is crap and bots don't go up the flipper. >.<

Looking beastly, though. I do like the flamp idea, the Judge Burst has a heck of a kick coming back down, maybe someone could make it work properly. I take it the Ripping Tooth on the top helps with self-righting, similar to the pair of them on Taur II.

Nah, I just placed it there because the part of the flipper where it bends down has a visible 'seam' on it. Just placed a tooth there so no one would notice my fail panel placement. :P

Also, any almost-invertible flipper with a Judge burst should be able to self-right any time. :P

yay pwn is building again
> mfw I haven't built a bot in 8 months

IRL SHALL BE SLAIN BY M- oh wait I'm not French.

(Image removed from quote.)

Pretty much an annoying noisemaker full of spikes and stuff. Irons nip the wedges away while the teeth, you know, do whatever teeth do. PA flipper's for frontal protection. And yeah, everything's DSL realistic (will showcase an IRL-ish bot soon, though). 3mm plastic, 11 ants, NPCFs and stuff. Wedges are almost as good as HnM4's.
not sure how much it would effect it but see if getting rid of the me might help the wedges. the irons pretty much protect the wedge anyway from what i can see.

sky shark looks cool aswell
DSL Showcase
is this bot don't lost all razors in a fight before do a damage thought

Tried to make an IRL BW VS and it eventually turned into a Nightmare-esque DSL VS instead:

So yeah, nothing special - 3 ants, 1mm tite, airtight chassis and stuff. Worthless against long-reach HSes (unless they're unstable, which it can capitalize on), but it's manly enough to beat stuff that doesn't even try to give a fair match (as evidenced above).

Why are you not just using 3 large beaters perpendicular to the disc's surface ?

It looks pleasing anyways, but your weapon setup still is not the best.

It looks good but if your turning it into DSL standard then wouldn`t 3/4 Beaters + Razers better?

Why are you not just using 3 large beaters perpendicular to the disc's surface ?
...because it's asymmetric? Must have misinterpreted that because I have no idea where you're going with here.

It looks good but if your turning it into DSL standard then wouldn`t 3/4 Beaters + Razers better?
Razors would mean I have to use the DSL disc so they won't hit the ground, which means I only have space for 4 razors. That's even worse.

Oh, and a DSL disc with 4 large beaters either makes the weapon setup too small (bars along the disc) or they cut my control board in half (bars away from the disc).
