You need to get the wheels farther out to get the turning circle to spin faster, but in doing so, you can try to angle the wheel up just a little bit, like from this | to this / (not that much but you get the picture). Did that one or two clicks on SnSnS 5 and it made it more stable, it spun fast enough to have the wheels and axles glitch out of the motors, and it gave it invertibility.

Probably true... but if his bot gets inverted, he'll be slower then :P

Now that i'm thinking of it, what you just said might be worth trying.

In the case of SnSnS 5 though (idk if Pwns is invertible), its better to spin slow inverted then to not spin at all.

If they are realistic, it just brings a new dimension to DSL building.

@Badnik: SnSnS 5 (now 6, just rebuilt it) is the new versions of the MW one in CC3. SnSnSnSnS (5 Ss) is only in its 2nd revision. Thats the HW. There is also Super Sns (in its 2nd revision), and King SnS (1st revision, but 2nd time I tried a UHW SnS/HS Hybrid)

Well, Snsns Junior just doesn't seem like a feasible design, there's no way youre getting enough weapons on that for it to work. The other bot though, get something shorter on it than irons and it could be pretty good.

<3 how the HS looks, but aren't Perms a little overkill? I'd think that you would get a similar (or better) result with weaker motors and more weaponry.

Actually, my main aim for the DSL Repulsor was to have NPC+Technos. But from that chassis, I would never get it to be under the weight limit. I'll try an external setup with a smaller chassis and see if it works.

As for the HS, Perms are recommended for this design since it tends to have steering problems without the irons on the opposite ends of the axles.

Trying to redefine 'tank':

5mm tite, NPCs. Tried doing a Redneck rebuild, but the drive is only as fast as the original. Converting the drive to Hypnos would mean reducing the weapon weight equal to the original while being able to boost up the armor to 5mm steel. Either way I'm quite happy with it. :D

AND PRESENTING THE SMALLEST PRACTICAL CHASSIS ON A HW!

I think it's chassis size is 1.5x1 units big (or small), 5mm steel and the rest you can see. I tried getting 8 Hammer4s while having Techno E-Tek drive, but I couldn't do it. I was overweight by 12kg or something.

Yes, but surely there must be something a bit more effective? And possibly a bit shorter?

I was merely elaborating on Pwnators answer as it was clear you didnt quite understand how they were wheel guards
