In one of those maces there is another one stacked on each arm. try doing that IRL and come back to me on that one.

In real life you could get a 20kg mace that was twice as dense.

But there will only be 1, instead of another one under it when the first one breaks off.

Well that means we can't stack razors anymore... :)

Dear sir, having razors intersecting is something else than putting 3 razors at exactly the same place and rotation like you Stockies do.

On a vocabulary note, we should differ between stacking (having 2 components at the same exact place) and overlapping (having 2 components to intersect) anyways.

Speaking of vocabulary,
Stockies
I like this term.
Tournament Record: 94 Wins - 50 Losses
Challenge Record: 2 Wins - 2 Losses

What about Iron Spikes stacked/overlapped half way into each other?  Or razors taking up the entire width of the upper wedge?

I still don't fully understand the realistic rules but iron spikes overlapping like on Joeblo's T-Road could be realistic. It could be treated as a single weapon assembly or one components. Static spikes sticking through a wedge should be fine  because they could be part of a wedge. The bots I have a problem with are generally popups. I just don't understand how you can have a bar the width of a bot retract into it and come out and the bot retain any structural integrity.

that was really to look cool ... but essentially IRL you would cut one row of spikes in half and weld them to the other row. thinking stuff like that is considered realistic in some conditions as IRL you are not confined to set single parts, you can cut and modify them

T-Road would only be unrealistic if it exploits the flexibility of the skirt hinges.

And tried making a DSL version of SCv3 Intruder Alert and it sorta failed. D:

But I also made a DSL Repulsor and it's actually quite decent. The pic will come when I get to use the laptop. XD

UK vs USA - Dark Striker (Grand Champion)
Rust In Pieces 2 - Claymore (Runner-Up, Favourite Bot)
BBEANS 6 - Infection 4 (Runner-Up)
RA2 Team Championships - Serious Business, Skeksis (Runner-Up, along with Scrappy, S_M, and Badnik)
RA2 Team Championships 2 - The Other Stig (Runner-Up, along with Scrappy, S_M, Badnik, 090901, and R1885)

which it does but...

1. could be done IRL with some cutting

2. I cant help that a part is bouncy

3. more realistic then using hinges for Armour :P

basically after the only thing realism in DSL nowadays is no stacking... but even partial stacking is being more and more accepted

Here it is!

3mm plastic, NPCFs and only 4 ants, but unfortunately not fast enough. Still quite tough to kill, though.

And another one!

I think this design has been done before. Couldn't recall. 1mm tite, regular NPCs, 4 ants, Perm 80 Ls. Also quite hard to kill, and it's much more effective against wedges than Repulsor.
