Acornia 3 - A pretty decent bot that still should have been faster :P

You just try and fit twm3r's into there and stay in the weight limit, whilst still having the same effectiveness of the bot.

It's practically impossible.

If you think it's impossible, then kid, you ain't trying hard enough.



Same armor, same tank, same wedge, but more weapons and a better drive than Acornia 2.


Oh, and I should thank Ounce for DSL's chassis. :P

Doesn't look bad though, but I bet you could save weight by placing the air tank behind the piston, then narrowing the chassis.

Since I just realized that Acornia 3 had a large tank and no wedge, I still managed to put mag drive in it.




I was 0.9kg overweight for a wedge, so I just spent the weight on 2 Typhoon spikes instead.

For the first bot, here's Contagion:



3mm plastic, astros, and you can see the rest. Yeah, it sucks.


And here's Mushroom Cloud, a SnS/FSS hybrid:



1mm tite, and you can also see the rest. Basically Resentful Princess with a stronger motor. Would've been awesome, but it glitches from time to time.

And here's a bigger version, Pileus:



3mm plastic, NPCFs, and the rest you can see. I had to use a large disc because the shell is too small for it to be realistic. And it performs decently, so I'm happy with it. :D

Pretty neat. Easily the best, but needs a 100, 150, 200 or 250 dsl disc.

HINT: if the 100, 150, etc. disc doesn't fit, put a DSL disc on before, and then it fits.

150cm discs are useless on anything lighter than HWs. And 200cm discs are useless on anything lighter than SHWs.

And I don't get what you're implying with your hint. That's exactly what I did. The smallest shell disc doesn't fit, which is why I used the large disc.

He means putting a small DSL disc on the motor first, then addng a larger black disk, and wasting weight by the process.

Tried making a SHW undercutter, so here's what I came up with. This is Reichsmarschall:



5mm steel, and the rest you can see. Unfortunately, I couldn't make it good against gut-rippers anymore since there are too many weapons and defenses to break in the SHW class.

And here's the HW version of Mushroom Cloud and Pileus. Here's Pyrocumulus:



5mm plastic, and NPCF drive. For some reason the drive doesn't really move much when it's trying to SnS. Which means the Dual Perm's still doing all the work. Oh well, since I used flailz, it's deadly enough for me. XD

Instead of attaching those top skirts to a DSL bar, can you just attach them to the disk?

It wouldn't self-right that well if I just used a single flippermaker to attach both skirts.
