Looks pretty good. Good use of Puncture's drive setup. =P I thought Spike Clubs had normals, though.

Boy have people been beating up on Enturon lately.

Still, I like the design.
Any comments would be appreciated. :D

Tentative RIP3 entry!

Plastic 5, 4 ants. Yeah, I recycled the BW's chassis. Will search the Robot Designs folder for a better entry, but for now I guess this is cool enough to be entered.

If this doesn't perform to my standards, my backup entry would probably be the LW SkinHead clone.

Tesseract. =D

It's a really cool design, and I imagine the wheels are for invertibility. How often does the BSG get taken off?

DSL 2 wheels are for HP and invertibility. As for the BSG, it seems to be fine against non-flails, although it's pretty understood that it's game over when it fights against a tooth VS (still stands a slight chance against a sledge VS).

The damage output is pathetic though, so I do have to find something else to enter.

Still looking for a decent LW to enter that's unique enough. Eyes currently fixed on that Moving Violation clone.

Meanwhile, Cure for Madness (geddit? Because of Recipe for Disaster? /lameskyrimjoke)!

3mm tite, 4 ants and 2 battlepacks, NPCs, and a Dual Perm 80 M (hurr hurr). And yes, one of the Perms are raised so the discs don't intersect each other (and they counter-rotate). Still crap. Can't do much about that due to the abundance of armor in DSL (you can only put so much top armor in Stock only to be knocked away by 4 razors in a couple of hits, but it's a whole different story here in DSL), but it can still take on some shell spinners and wammers.

Battlepacks are fine, though yeah maces are pretty crap. Swap in some beaters or beater w/ small DS teeth instead of those suckers.

I love it.  :approve:   Never thought this design could be done realistically in DSL.  Now to make it effective...

Drive might be a tad overkill, and so might the hammer.  As you say, it's a lot easier to protect against hammers in DSL, so you might want to use just a BSG with a poly extender and a few 5kg teeth on it (or keep the JX but use a lighter hammer, if a BSG is too weak).  It won't matter against foes with heavy top armor you couldn't break anyway with the big hammer, and it should still be deadly against foes with weak armor.  Then you can add...moar weapons on the discs, I guess.  I would suggest static side armor between the chassis and the discs (like RfD's plows) except it doesn't look like you have room for it.

To lack feeling is to be dead, but to act on every feeling is to be a child.

Will get to that soon, in the meantime, here's a quick bot I whipped up:

1mm tite, and it's big as heck. A 20cm poly in the back because the disc cuts through the 40cm, so I needed something to bridge the two sides together. It once tore off a flail spinner's shell in 2 hits, which I couldn't take a screenie of because it crashed the game. Only weak to stable long-armed HSes (and sledge rammers), other than that it should have at least a 40% chance of winning.

[Edit] Also, I have no idea why the wheels are off-axle in the screenie. It seems to drive fine.

lol nope

That does let it score some cheap wins, though.

I totally forgot to showcase this along with the LW:

might update this but TF2

But this is the bot I actually wanted to showcase right now:

3mm plastic, 4 ants, NPCs. I wanted to see if Scrappy's Boomer can be more punty, and it does - at the cost of its maneuverability. It really can't steer 90 degrees without gyro dancing. Still fun to play with, though.
