No it isn't. You know about that thing called normals ? Hell, spike strips are far from being the best weapons in DSL statwise, but when you add normals to it...

They have good shape and AP's, but these are the only positive points.

Pretty well actually. with 3 medium beater bars on it, it's a bit protected.
