Lazy prick that I am, I haven't done any building. Instead, I come to show more old stuff. Here is my CCIV bot.

Advice for improvement may be given, but I am not planning to actually do much with this bot. It was fun while it lasted.

Yeah it's pretty much weight wasted... bet you could build something tougher AND lighter with less 20cm poly mess.

There are multiple points where this things needs improvement. HP at the back doesn't matter to me, it's all about the front with this one. I do think I have something in mind now that I will try actually. Just still thinking of how to fix the flaw that made me lose in the winner brackets in CCIV. Edge of the chassis sticking out above on the front. Anyone have a fancy idea for this? I don't think I can put in a lower placed skirt hing in there without making the chassis larger.

EDIT: Scrap that sh**. SkRillEX3 will be there when the skin and all is done. Still need some design ideas for a horizontal clamping bot, but that will come some other time.

Guess what people!!

Don't know what you guys think, but I am very pleased with how this one turned out!
Armour is the same as on 2. Now has NPC Fasts. More durabable front ram. I LOVE IT!

Surely you could get lighter extender work by going Multi-Extender > NPC Fasts, or putting the NPC Fasts directly in the chassis?

Looks not too bad, but the lack of weaponry worries me. Also the Titanium Halfsheet is quite bad for anything other than attaching it to the baseplate. It's half the weight of a Fullsheet, but only has a third of the HP. Mounting the Skirt hinge as low down as possible and having some Titanium 40cm sheets pointing upwards would offer MUCH better protection for less weight.

I don't get it. It's... just a wedge ? Seriously these 20kg of awkwardly placed weapons cannot make it a wammer.

He could lighten up the drive/extender work, and have maybe a few razors as a wamming rack up front, instead of the tite halfsheet at the moment.

Aim of this bot is to just ram the other OOTA, which is hard, but fun IMO.

As for the second hinge idea, I tries that before but with that hinge moving along with whatever happens, it was just in the way. I needed something static.

edit: I don't actually care about weapons on this one.

I am familiar with the design of this bot; it served the vague basis of my Blades Of Fury entry (flipping bots by having upward facing spikes on hinges). It always worked rather well for me, although it is much better suited for IRL Realistic style.

Looks neat but why are the wheels so far apart?

Fun thing is, the bot that the SkRillEX bots came from was my Replica Wars 2 entry, Hkasa, which was a pusher. That's why I keep them all a bit in the same style. I never showcases my RW2 bot Hkasa. I'll do that soon-ish then.

Looks neat but why are the wheels so far apart?
Because it was something good that I came up with for placing these things. That and I think that it turns faster when wheels are further away from each-other.

Like I said I would, here is the very old bot Hkasa which was my Replica Wars 2 entry. From this bot, the SkRillEX bots came forward.

I really like the looks of that thing. I would try to have the stabilisers at less of a backward angle, though, it looks as though the bot could tip forward as the weapon spins up at the moment.
