Concept time for TA2. Won't be entering this, though.

798.9, Plastic 5, 12 ants. 6 NPCFs/Hypnos, 2 BSGs with 4 razors each. Two reasons I'm not happy with it. 1) Each BSG's razors intersect the other one's quite a lot. 2) It doesn't strafe. At all. Just turns sideways in a very unusual fashion. I wonder if I can hit JoeBlo up with some help if he's still knocking around. Did he ever get round to AI'ing his strafing things?

Refinement of the concept. I want to enter this one into TA2, but AI'ing it is going to be pretty impossible.

Titanium 3, 11 ants, 6 NPCFs & Hypnos. 2 BSG's with 4 razors each. Little bit of AGOD on the wedges, but they still match up, so they should be alright. Strafes effectively with a little bit of turn feathering. Side assembly stuff because I had weight left over, plus the robot is going to be moving sideways, so I decided to protect the wheels and add a couple of extra razors for some added DP. Not tested in combat yet, but at least the strafing stuff works. Sort of.

IIRC JB tried modifying Mad's Arrowhead.py (inverting the controls and rearranging the SZs) but I never recalled him successfully modifying it, and I'm too busy to try it out for myself. D:

What's the benefit to having it strafe?

You get the ability to move sideways around the opponent's wedges, without having to move your front away from the opponent. Thus you don't have to fight the wedge war, which is quite good, because my wedges are usually not that good compared to other members', but you can still attack the opponent without having to expose your more vulnerable and undefended sides.

Naryar's Melee Entry.

248.7, 3 ants, and whatever the armour was. Does pretty well for itself, sometimes it gets a little bit unstable when it's inverted, but not enough to cause too many problems. Also, has anyone else noticed that the Perm 80 Long in NAR AI 2.7 is lighter than the Perm 80 Medium?

10/10 i came

good thing this tourney is in nar ai otherwise the normally 400 hp motor would come off really quickly
How you make Alarm Clock Pizza is:
Step 1: You buy an alarm clock from the store, and then you have to break it and put it in the sauce.
Step 2: Fold the sauce in 5 slices and put it in the dough.
Step 3: Paint the eggs with a pitcher of a clock showing what time you want to wake up and eat pizza for breakfast.
Step 4: Put the eggs in the dough.
Step 5: Make it flat into a round shape and draw the time you want on it.
Step 6: Put some old steel to prevent other peple from stealing it.
Step 7: Make it flat and cut into 60 slices 1 for each minute in 1 our.
Step 8: Put in the oven set the timer to 30048813.2884 seconds and put the temperature on 'Volcano' setting.
Step 9: If you think it is take to long, then get yor alarm clock and set it to now so that it will ring and you can take it out.
Step 10: Take it out uv the uvin wen it is redy and go to bed. In the morning eat pizza and also eat yor hands bi mistake.

More TA2 Ptototyping. Swapped the strafing drive for some genericness.

799.9, Tite 5, 7 ants and 2 battlepacks. 4 NPCFs, 4 BSGs. Should be able to self-right.

I assume this is the bot you entered? Looks sweet. How many razors in total? 16?
