Tweaked Frequency for Blades Of Fury 2.

No more ugly poly extenders cluttering it up, and a more aesthetically pleasing "support" for the motor, I reckon. Typhoon spike because I had weight left over, and I thought it would help with self-righting. Plastic 3, so it's tougher as well. 398.5kg.

That bar radius is frankly a little overboard and I would say it's slightly unrealstic but nothing too bad.
And that's one ugly skin.

This sort of motor-on-top design is naturally unrealistic by virtue of the mechanics of the game, much like a ring spinner. The idea here is that the drum component creates the illusion of a hollow axle, which supports the Perm motor, which in turn spins the bar around it. And the reach is comparable to that of Final Destiny, I reckon, minus the skirting. Which Diesector removed anyway.

I'll agree with you on the skin, though. It's very tricky to get the rivets in the right place, what with it being stretched when you export it and all.

I'm familiar with the whole motor on top idea, but the actual bar just wouldn't be very sturdy IRL. The bar on Final Destiny is both smaller and is also rounded at the tip and sides.

It isn't really an issue anyway, I just see that realistically that bar wouldn't be nearly as sturdy as it is in game.

I'm not a big fan of those "huge spinnermotor outside the chassis" bots

Back to some regular DSL for a bit.

397.4, 6 ants, NPCF's, Plastic 3. Can still move about upside-down, protective skirts on the top because I had weight left over. Tried Hypno wheels, and the bot wouldn't move. Wedges are decent but not great. Takes stuff apart quite nicely, though.

... I don't think the lightnings are much use. I think you would be better with heavier weapons on the sides and none on the middle.

I agree with Naryar. Perhaps you could go two razors and two beater bars per disc instead?

I don't know what was going through my head when I built this.

799.8, 4 ants, Plastic 5, NPC Normals. Designed to kill popups/flippers, and it does that very well. Until it becomes unbalanced. CF extenders to give correct clearance for the weaponry.

This is a popup killer ? yeah just as long as it doesn't get inverted and the popup doesn't hit that exposed chassis.

It's beaten HNM4 consistently in testing. It occasionally gyro dances on a clumsy hit, but it doesn't get inverted too often. Once the weapon's up to speed, it acts as a gyroscope, and keeps it the right way up.

Looks awesome, just the chassis ruining the aesthetics somewhat sadly.

When it's inverted though, can you just drive it to gyro spin back again, if you get me?

That looks awesome. Did you put the motors on the discs just incase one of the skirts falls off.

Had an idea after seeing R0B0's latest creation. Got a bit lazy with the skin, though. I'll give it a better one later.
