The Rage III reference made me laugh out loud... but the correct strenghs and weaknesses are "very fast" and "maybe a little too fast"

Reminds me of another bot.....starts with an 'N' and ends with the number '5'....hmmmm
Perhaps a little bit. I was unaware of said robot. =P

A prototype for BTTB 2, which I have tentetively called Impetus. I've made this one a True Popup with, surprisingly, wedges that aren't that bad. 12 Razor tips on 6 Mag Snappers, 1 Orange Battery, 2 Battlepacks, 1 Long and an Ant (I think), Regular NPC Fasts and 3mm Aluminium. 799.7.

6 mag snappers is overkill, and the long batteries suck.

I'm not sure why, but I felt compelled to make a rebuild of Sage's Pinball machine. Maybe it was due to BTTB2, and I liked it. But I was screwing around in the bot lab, trying to make something cube-shaped, but ended up making a very small chassis (also utilising the megalow chassis glitch) and building a LW SnS around it. Not as damaging as I'd like to be, but has de-weaponed and defeated every LW it's come up against so far.

I love the "TILT" decal on the back. I doubt that was intentional but TiLT was a multi account of Sage (who of course built Pinball).

I didn't know that part, I just thought it was a Pinball term for when you bash the machine too hard.

Another of my "WTF" machines. A bot with no drive or burst motors, no wheels and no batteries. Instead, it uses two servos, mounted on a large disc, which in turn is mounted on a 360 Axle, to rotate a smaller disc with a large weight (3 hammers) attached to it, which shifts the center of gravity, which pulls the robot forwards. It goes forwards, backwards, turns, and......that's about it. No real battle potential, I just had an idea.

Not sure, I haven't got any filming programs, and my laptop's going to be getting repaired from Monday through Thursday. I might have to redownload everything.

Got my laptop back, which means I have RA2 back, and that means I can recommence building. =D

Starting with a possible Clash Cubes IV Entry, which I have called Wheels Are Tasty. Tite 3, 3 ants and a blue control board in as tight a chassis as I could get. 247.5 or thereabouts.

I like the way that bot looks, but I fear those side panels won't be enough protection for the Magmotor.  See if you can use 40cm skirts instead.  Also, it would be much more effective with high-DP weapons, like the 12kg DSL teeth, so you can rip off wheels faster.  You're certainly not going to be out-weaponing anything so you don't need to worry about HP.  And I'm guessing the big polycarb skirt is for self righting.  Cool setup.

To lack feeling is to be dead, but to act on every feeling is to be a child.

Okay, I tried what you recommended, Click, and it actually self-rights better than it did before. =D

LW Rammer/Pusher, Keystone. 248.4, 2 Astros, 4 ants for consistent pushing power, and 14 razors. Is near impenetrable from the front, or at the back thanks to casters, which are there to help it tilt forwards at the start of the match as a sort of counterweight, not purely for armour. Though it is a little bit slow for a rammer. And it has quite a slow turnspeed. Tite 3, I think. Used Vlads, because Hypnos were even worse at turning, and it tended to get stuck on the casters. And for weight.
