Use Multi-Extender instead of the baseplate anchor. It will save you weight.

That's even worse than your last bot. Replace the Ant Saws with a DSL Bar or Disc with beater bars.

Thats even worst than your last advice. Replace the first part with a comment on less drive.

ok wtf
-the disk cuts though the perm
-hs generally dont need wedges
-the extender work is @_@ing awful, keep it simple and just use a few me's and the occasional round extender
-theres a huge ass white box around the bot, get rid of that

gj with less empty space though
How you make Alarm Clock Pizza is:
Step 1: You buy an alarm clock from the store, and then you have to break it and put it in the sauce.
Step 2: Fold the sauce in 5 slices and put it in the dough.
Step 3: Paint the eggs with a pitcher of a clock showing what time you want to wake up and eat pizza for breakfast.
Step 4: Put the eggs in the dough.
Step 5: Make it flat into a round shape and draw the time you want on it.
Step 6: Put some old steel to prevent other peple from stealing it.
Step 7: Make it flat and cut into 60 slices 1 for each minute in 1 our.
Step 8: Put in the oven set the timer to 30048813.2884 seconds and put the temperature on 'Volcano' setting.
Step 9: If you think it is take to long, then get yor alarm clock and set it to now so that it will ring and you can take it out.
Step 10: Take it out uv the uvin wen it is redy and go to bed. In the morning eat pizza and also eat yor hands bi mistake.

I don't know how that happened. I was using GIMP for the first time.

Stop cropping like sparkey.

It's pretty bad anyways. Not enough weapons, needs more refined extender work, unrealistic.

You get a lot more features with GIMP, and it's a free piece of software. Much like Paint.NET, I find PDN easier to use, though, than GIMP.

There are several things that can be done to improve this bot. Largely the unrealistic weapon, the disc cuts directly through the drive belt on the Perm. The extender work is also a complete mess, along with the redundant wedges. You should have a bit more weaponry as well, if you tidy up the extenders, maybe attach everything directly to ME's, that'll save you a LOT of weight for weaponry.

I'm not stupid, I have Gimp myself too. You could just crop the picture with paint.

I prefer to use Photoshop CS4, but that's because I always want to make a nice splash for my bots. For normal clopping like this, Paint is indeed more then enough.

If you select an area of the picture, then select Ctrl + Shift + X, it crops the image to your selection.

Similar problems to the last bot, though. Clean up your extender work, and maybe swap the weapon TWM for a Piglet. Perhaps lose the central beater add some DS teeth with the saved weight, that'll help with gutripping stuff.

Use a metal hinge for your wedge.

yeah beater bars are mainly good if you have a high dp weapon backing it up

A WIP of an IRL bot.

God, I suck at this game.

I would move the flipper slightly back.

It's IRL, expect a little bit of inefficiency. Flipper could be moved further back, perhaps if you turned the judge burst the other way round, to get the axle closer to the back of the bot. That should help the side panel line up with the front wedge a bit better.

Yes, "a little bit". Not nearly 40% of empty space !

This is a MW flipper/popup chassis and he's using it for a LW.

I wonder why he's posting a WIP and not just keep building to actually show a finished product.
