It's clearly not though, it's AI will not let it move towards the opponent, therefore does not show controlled movement.

Jesus christ why are you testing my rules Naryar no one else has this problem
I'll just declare trinity fliers unrealistic and be done with it. A spinner with pistons on IRL would probably gyrodance but not fly straight up.

But I almost entered my piston flipper that was AI'd to fly away if any bot came within half of a mile of it xD

The rules however do NOT say that you MUST display controlled movement at all times.

Well, I was building for Conraa's tournament yesterday, aand then... I finished my new flipper design 150 kg under the weight limit



NPC fasts of course, more than enough ants, and the side wedges are powered by BSG's.

You can guess what the side wedges are there for.

I can add moar armor (useless), stabilizers (will not take me more than 50kg), moar bursts (shape is unwieldly)...

Now that I think of it, i can make it wider with one more burst and moar wedges. Yes, I'll do that.

Still just invented a subtype of flipper, to my knowledge.

any other ideas ?

Does that burst wedge even works?  If I were you I would make that as far forward as possible.
