Don't enter this into RIP3, that exposed drive will be eaten fast.

Even with 11000 HP motors ?

You've got exposed extenders, exposed wheels, and exposed motors. Chances are that one is going to go pretty early, probably the wheels.

It would be better if you got it so more weapons hit at once because it may not do all that much damage with only 2 razors making contact.

Wait, I totally couldn't come to that conclusion myself !!!

Nice post man. Quit being arrogant because it's legitimate advice.
and have the beater bars on the inside ap

And then attach the razors perpendicularly to the beater bars ? I see what you mean. I'll try and look how to improve that weapon setup.

I thought just swap the Beater & Razor with the lone Razor on each hexplate. It'll give a flatter area of attack, instead of the two razors you're getting now, and you could intersect the razors if you need to with the proper rotation.
This, pretty much. It would give a similar area of weapons but with a better orientation.

And just cut the arrogance in future, it looks bad and is really hypocritical considering you are made to judge people on that very feature fairly often as part of your moderator role.

Arrogance ? Fool ! I am DEFINED by arrogance !

The problem here is that you are giving basic, newbie-level advice to someone that knows it since years. Do you think I don't realize my weapon setup could be better executed ?

Besides, the right to be a bit arrogant is earned, or at least tolerated, as you climb up the building ladder. Look at myself, Ounce or Inf.

If you realised it already why did you leave a glaring issue in your bot? That's like saying " I know how to make my bot better but I like my bot sucking how it is, screw you're advice", freeziez style.
Also, Inf was arrogant to an extreme and it just came off really badly on him. Ounce is cool beans though.

i hope my vs is stable enough to chuck that around
How you make Alarm Clock Pizza is:
Step 1: You buy an alarm clock from the store, and then you have to break it and put it in the sauce.
Step 2: Fold the sauce in 5 slices and put it in the dough.
Step 3: Paint the eggs with a pitcher of a clock showing what time you want to wake up and eat pizza for breakfast.
Step 4: Put the eggs in the dough.
Step 5: Make it flat into a round shape and draw the time you want on it.
Step 6: Put some old steel to prevent other peple from stealing it.
Step 7: Make it flat and cut into 60 slices 1 for each minute in 1 our.
Step 8: Put in the oven set the timer to 30048813.2884 seconds and put the temperature on 'Volcano' setting.
Step 9: If you think it is take to long, then get yor alarm clock and set it to now so that it will ring and you can take it out.
Step 10: Take it out uv the uvin wen it is redy and go to bed. In the morning eat pizza and also eat yor hands bi mistake.

Juggernaut - 3mm Ti, 3 ants, 2 large air packs, NPC fasts, everything else you can see

Built after three beers. May be a bit too unstable for my liking, still pretty original AFAIK.

Now for something a bit different... Science episode today. I wanted to build a walker... kind of.

Time to test.

Why are you sitting, dog ? Move !

Finally he gets to move. Amusingly, the servos are far too fast for what I asked.

Seems to work fine until...

The gods of Havok decide to troll me, and some of the discs start to spin uncontrollably.

I BUILT A WALKER NOT A FLYER

And one minute after, there is no input from me, but the thing is still havoking all over the place. Perpetual movement anyone ?

Conclusion:
-flails and servos don't mix
-amusingly, the havok only starts when there is no input, and stops when you input a sufficiently long command (a few seconds)
-the badly wired version of the bot (by that I mean with counter-rotating discs, not standard 4WD wiring) did havoked far quicker than the rightly wired.
-can't wait to abuse this in any way I can :trollface

Now there's something I never expected to see in this showcase.  I had the same type of havok going on with my Tom Servo bot from way back.  kinda cool to watch them spin and hop like that.   Interesting use of the flails on the 'feet' too.

Pretty interesting idea. I'm pretty sure I did this with an SnS Flamethrower bot in my showcase somewhere, but it's been implemented differently here. I wonder if you could make it into a viable bot design.
