I saw what you mean, and therefore fixed the bot.

5mm Steel, NPC fasts.

For me this is realistic. Just a hole to be cut in the middle of the chassis, since the flamethrower's real exhaust is at the top of physical exhaust.

My rammer should hopefully stand up to that.

Mine's got a metal hinge wedge anyway, and is faster

So this is what i'm going to use against ben purse. I figure he has no chance unless he builds a relatively decent popup like he did before against Foxpet. That I helped him to do (yes it was to troll Foxpet). Oh well.

Not bad. Are they mounted there to give it a wider area of shreddage? Or do the collision meshes get in the way if you mount them on the inside AP of the discs?

Well for answering your question, no and yes... I was first expecting to make it a 6 piglet FS, then I calculated I hadn't enough space to put 6 piglets here with 6 razors and beaters on each unless I crazy axle load the whole thing, then I said "oh screw this, I can save batteries if I don't use that many motors" and made it a dual etek FS.

I was first willing to use a flippermaker for extensions, then I though "wait i'm 2000 HP away from being harmless" then used discs, and after that saw that discs were perfect to attach stabilizers like that.

Could maybe have done it with hexplates as well, but I wonder if the disc armor's collision would not collide with the Eteks.

Well yes, I can't see this bot fairing well against a good gutripper... provided BP can even manage to build a good gutripper. I know he already sent his bot, and I bet it's average at the very best.

Yes, it probably would be better if I attach the eteks on the discs, between them. But I would need higher space between discs and larger wheels.

so here's my SheetMetal modded entry. It's called Mangonel, has 6 ants and 3mm plastic.

At first it was a firestorm-like flipper but it sucked, and now it is a bit better but still bad. I have the feeling it just sucks because it's an inferior bot type

Will probably change bot type.
