He's preforming self-deprecational humour, nary.
Put this onto your signature if you were part of this crappy fad in '03.

Well i still do not get it at all :P

My first Micro Mayhem prototype.

Called Fatality because i had no other idea for the team it was in (generic death-themed team). I think it has plastic 3.

Fail beetle because it can't turn properly for some unknown reason (it turns super slowly, and in the opposite direction it should turn), even after i changed hypnos to DSL wheels (it originally had hypnos and was too fast :P), checked the driving controls and rotated the wheels a little. Maybe

When i saw myself losing to Ogre in Yoda's tournament, i saw "heh, nice design, i should ripoff that sometime" and here we go:

5mm Ti, 4 ants, 4 PC565's.

Alas when it was finished it was underweight :P I think swapping to 2 heavy plows, rear stabilizers and heavier wedges should take care of this.

As in a flipper with razor tips on a beta burst?  I've built one of those before:
(Image removed from quote.)
But it sucked at dealing damage and was more suited to being a flipper.

As for yours, maybe you can add halfsheets on the bottom?

Add titanium sheets to the bottom is all I can think of.

I'll let him know you were inspired by him.  Looks cool too.  Although If i were to be a stickler for detail, his was more of a flipper/rammer hybrid.  the razors were static.

I tried making something like this once, and i think i averaged about 100 points per flip, and could barely get the other bot off the ground.  Flippers are NOT my forte

Yoda should get Ogre to join the forum :D

he's still without internets.  Lack of money will do that...I'm about ready to just hire him as my personal assistant, but I live on fast food wages myself, so i'm thinking no.

I am not going to add halfsheets for defense because if some gut-ripper gets under me, I am probably screwed anyways. The Beta's so powerful that it's self-righting is lousy and even sometimes flips itself when upright :P

It flips decently well and varies from 100 to 1000 points per flip (1000 is rare though) so I think it can be made into a decent fighter.

Yes, i noticed that when re-looking at the video :rage

Good to see you again !

o hai thar sage

3mm plastic, normal NPCs, 6 ants (NO WAI)

Not as good as i wished because the Ti skirts go off WAY too easily. I think i'm going to use a single skirt hinge and steel skirts.

And thus, Waryar was born. [INB4 STFU SPAMMING SHOWCASES]

I'd recommend downgrading the extenders on your axe and opting for more razors or changing for some other weapon. Since hardly anything usually hits the arm that the weapons are attached to, polys or (if you're willing to take a risk) carbons are all you truly need.

If you're wanting to upgrade those front skirts, you could try downgrading the rear skirts, or use straight skirts as opposed to angled ones. Perhaps downgrade the extenders holding the razors on too, I don't think they'll be hit too easily unless you AI'd it wrong.

Weapon mass of more than 50kg on an arm is too much for a BSG to handle. There is no need for more weapons (besides, 8 razors is deadly enough to kill Paper Cut 5 in 2 hits). And aluminum is probably the most efficient choice there. Polys are fine but he had the weight to use alu. As for CF extenders, don't cry if a VS cripples your weapon system in 2 hits. :P

It's just a clone attempt to improve this :

https://gametechmods.com/RA2wiki/index.php?title=Ham-mer_Sandwich_2

Now that i saw the page, it has less razors :P

But i mainly used alu for it to look cooler. CF would make it ugly and very vulnerable.
