so i built something for thyrus's tournament. it is of course built while partly drunk

I may just change that weapon+extender, i would enter a simple flipper but 1- it's boring 2- it's not original 3- it's not manly.

It is called Manly Flipper due to being a weaponed flipper and therefore being more manly than a standard flipper, and yes I believe either flipper or HS can do best on a KotH arena.

NPC fasts of course, double wedge for outwedging in a noticeably non-flat arena, 3mm plastic (maybe i'll go to 1mm titanium, I don't like 1mm plastic due to being somewhat unrealistic)

and yes thyrus i have changed the poor wiring. I don't think I'm gonna rebuild it, maybe changing a few components and probably weakening armor. add more batteries because i think it may be underpowered.

I have no idea. I just put them so when I am climbing the ramp, I don't have my static wedge up in the air and I don't get outwedged too easily.

Same deal if I am first and if my wedge protrudes from the top of the KotH.

Come to think of it, I am unsure about this wedge...

5mm titanium, npc fasts. rest you can see.

I still need to finish it. I know I need a cover for the flamers who are not IRL at the moment, and possibly a better-looking wedge. But I can't just set up a small wedge in there unless I just BFE the skirt hinge into the beta.

any ideas about that, and other thoughts about the bot ?

build started as a SHW. maybe i'll do a SHW version of that and name it Iron Bull ? (Bronze being stronger than brass, and iron being stronger than bronze. Not so sure about the density of them however)

Looks pretty good aside from the wedge, maybe add some wheel guards if you have weight?

I don't think I have the weight for wheel guards AND flamer guards. Maybe some ultralight 40cm angled aluminium skirt wheelguards ? I -could- decrease armor, but eh.

And as said I will probably use some weight to make a better wedge... now what to do ?

alright, this evening is hybrid building day, I'm gonna get in the mood first.

feel free to suggest ideas. while I can't assure you I will actually build your design, if it is interesting i will give it a try. i'll also gladly send it to you if you want.

so go on, give me ideas. (I DO have some, just wouldn't hurt to have more.)
