Don't use cheat parts if you're trying to build seriously; we have a separate section for that.  Also those motors aren't fitted for drive purposes: use NPC fast motors.

They're still not standard DSL parts.  I'm pretty sure the weapon motor isn't either.

I can give you a few pointers here. In terms of batteries, the LONG is the worst choice you can make for any machine. Almost always, Ant Batteries are used, or PCP-625's (The big 30kg ones) if you're using Beta Burst motors like you are now. Every spin motor needs 1 ant to work at full power, so keep that in mind on rammers, spinners and such.

If you're wanting to build wedges, Metal Hinges are definitely the best choice, but skirt hinges work well on LW robots. And you want a Small Wedge component on the end to give you the best chance of getting under an opponent. Trouble is, there's no hard and fast way to build a good wedge, so it'll be quite hit-and-miss for you, I imagine.

On the subject of Drive, most people use Techno Wheels on Heavyweight machines with 2 NPC Fast motors such as this one, as the higher Grip gives them better speed without having to shell out an extra 50-ish kg for another pair of motors, wheels and batteries.

It also helps to give us the weight and armour of the bot, as we can't tell just by looking at a picture of the insides.

Someone is double accounting methinks, judging from the title, and the inconsistency between his writing style, as the title is decent grammatically but then he forgets all his punctuation in the actual post.
Plus the custom components. I think the fact that Mr. halitosis was brought up in top 5 favorite gtm members gave somebody an idea.

Hmm. Possible, but unsure.

Don't drag me into this...

I am not convinced. Time will tell though.

And always use the big control board if you can. It weighs less.

My building took off when I learned to minimize chassis space. You should try it.

The Smart Zone Ballasts are from Firebeetle's Component Pack and aren't legal in tournaments (due to the fact they're so heavy and serve a function other than for AI).

If you get rid of them you can use the extra weight for more batteries (improve flipping power) and some stabilizers in the front (improve stability).
