Oh and I love how similar it looks to mute.

I have been caught!

Scrapheap with the adjustments made. Took a while to get it to fit tightly into the chassis. But NPC Fast's make it... very... fast.

I like the idea of building flippers/robots that can throw things. This can sort of chuck a MW over onto its back, but that's it.

Take two shots and overlap. Me gusta.  ;)

Yeah, that's your bot looking better now. What armour?

Armour is still Al 5.

And... what do you mean by wedge? Like, that little black thing in Extras?

Can you people stop bombarding him with IRL ? He'll choose between IRL and normal DSL on his own when he will be skilled and knowledgeable enough with RA2.

It's not advice you're giving him, it's pigeonholing a newbie into a choice he did not made.

He's said he wants to make robots like ones in IRL in his welcome thread IIRC.

What Badnik said. It`s not like I don`t know what I`m posting

I read that he wanted to make more realistic stuff than stock. Could mean he wants to build IRL, or standard DSL.

And slimbodies are just plain bad compared to the heavier motors, although sometimes weight does give you no choice in the matter.

And I realize none of you did gave him any advice on extender work. So I'll do that : Try to minimize extender work. By that, I mean make it the lightest and strongest possible. Extender work is everything that attaches motors, weapons and armor to the chassis.) Here, instead of using metal extenders (which are pretty bad most of the time), you could use another extender-like weapon (like spiked clubs or beater bars) and attach another weapon on top of it.

Also, spike strips are pretty bad as weapons. Try something that has no normals, aka that (mostly) looks like it can damage from all sides. Spike strips only damage with the serrated edge and the pointy end.

Also, add a wedge so you can get under other bots reliably. Simplest is a metal hinge pointing front + a metal sheet.

as in a metal hinge with a small wedge on it
How you make Alarm Clock Pizza is:
Step 1: You buy an alarm clock from the store, and then you have to break it and put it in the sauce.
Step 2: Fold the sauce in 5 slices and put it in the dough.
Step 3: Paint the eggs with a pitcher of a clock showing what time you want to wake up and eat pizza for breakfast.
Step 4: Put the eggs in the dough.
Step 5: Make it flat into a round shape and draw the time you want on it.
Step 6: Put some old steel to prevent other peple from stealing it.
Step 7: Make it flat and cut into 60 slices 1 for each minute in 1 our.
Step 8: Put in the oven set the timer to 30048813.2884 seconds and put the temperature on 'Volcano' setting.
Step 9: If you think it is take to long, then get yor alarm clock and set it to now so that it will ring and you can take it out.
Step 10: Take it out uv the uvin wen it is redy and go to bed. In the morning eat pizza and also eat yor hands bi mistake.

Good lord it's King Mushroom
You learn quickly, young padawan!
A few more things i'd suggest:

-Try and upgrade those flipping arms, if you come up against any hs, IRL or not, those arms will last 12 seconds.
-If possible, try and widen the front, it'll look more IRL imo and should help in getting under robots and flipping them.
-You could lose 1 ant if you wanted, bsg's need 2.5 ants each. (2.5*2) + (1*2) = 7

The only other problem is how high the arms are on the bot, but that's more due to the shape of the burst motor so there's very little you can do. You could probably make a rear hinged flipper for slightly more effectiveness.

Also Metal hinges + small wedges work well for getting under robots, but a frowned upon in IRL building.

I am liking this idea.

I shall return with an upgraded scrapheap and a rear hinged flipper.

I just forgot, you should add external armor to protect the front of your bot. Try a skirt hinge placed forward, high on front of the bot, angle it with the sliders, and then add a 80cm metal sheet to it so you can protect the front "beak" of your bot.

Right, here's Scrapheap. Its way better than the piece of scrap I started with.

I wanted to ask for the best flipper motor. The JX burst looks quite powerful.

Your style is so similar to King Mushroom's it's not funny. The splash/chassis of the last bot, your username is a nickname of his, and you're both bronies (inb4 naryar smites me) [YES ! EAT SMITE, FOOL !]

Either this is the craziest coincidence of all time or something weird is going on.

Your weapons are too long, the razors are not doing to do much damage.

I just had a peak in KM's thread. Gave me the idea of overlapping the images.

Meanwhile, other than that, I can't see any similarities that stand out.

I'd change the control board to the blue one and get rid of the beater bars.

Please don't make him turn it into a popup. We really don't need any less originality here.

I still want the spike strips back.

Building generic still helps them get better.
