Had no trouble beating Grog, Critical Emergency, Mako, Shebeast, Smashbox, and Wide Load.

Highest damage I saw was 7,029.

It may not look it, but it's invertible.

Looks very nice and effective. I especially like how the weapons help protect the wheels and drive motor.

EDIT: One weakness I might be able to see is that if a rammer can make it in between the weapons and hit the unprotectred chassis, things might get ugly.

I would have never thought to build a sit n spinner like that.

I'm blown away by that bot. It's very cool.

Apart from the mediocre paintjob, that's the coolest HW SnS i've ever seen. Ever.

That is amazing....

Can be improved though. Switch the steel extenders to tite or aluminum, they AREN'T gonna get hit, then add another spike or a Hypno claw or something on the outside of the hammers.
Avoid the beam and you won't get hit!

Thanks for the compliments. Paintjob's temporary, as I don't bother with a decent one 'till I'm happy with the bot.

Haven't taken any pics yet, but I tried a 4 wheeled version that seems to be just about as good. Less weapons, more drive power. The one thing I don't like is that it loses forward momentum very quickly once you start spinning. The 3wd version if spun right can keep moving in a direction while spinning most of the time.

Also, the original version had a driven center with the tribar assembly sitting on an axle. Somehow this defied all known laws of physics and resulted in the chassis being spun to ludicrous speeds by turning on the tribar motors. Not sure if it's a "new" glitch, but it may be.

In a normal robot, the motors spin the wheels, with this setup, the motors spin the chassis while the wheels just sit there. It gets some pretty good speed, and beyond the whole breaking the laws of physics, with some creative imagining giving consideration to the limitations of RA2, a completely buildable robot.

It is capable of moving forwards and backwards, but instead of moving the way the "drive" wheels are pointed, it moves the direction the front of the chassis is pointed.

Breaking the laws of physics is rarely pretty.

No the extender setup is ugly.

And no this is not a new glitch. I think roboshark had a few bots like this in stock. Ive played them online.
You got my vote for RA2 Wizard. Always and forever.

If you're talking about the Slidewynder bots, unless I'm mistaken, those have a motor powering the bar/disk that the "Wheels" are attached to. This bot uses broken physics to, as best I can tell, turn the free spinning axle into a motor with the power of 3+ npc fast drives. Slidewynder style bots have been around since the early AU days, though back then people used servo motors for the drive as they didn't seem to care that the chassis was spinning.

ah yes. i think its the same concept though... the result is the same, to have the chassis spin.

Certainly similar, but the powered vs. unpowered axle thing is a fairly important distinction. I suspect you could combine the glitches to have the power of the tribar/disk motor added to the power of the wheel motors.

Hmmm...

I smell a new generation of stock FBS/S&S's spawned from this. I'm working on a new SlideWynder using this concept.
