Title: meiemarek/Justnormalparps showcase
Post by: meiemarek on April 19, 2014, 01:52:18 PM
I had a idea to make  a showcase showing my progress from beginning to end. But i am too lazy for that.....

So i am starting from:

First Sucessful Steps

Note: I changed middle pole spikes to razor tips

This bot was first one what made it to a "career" tournament and completed it (last round whit cheaty tactics ,since final bot was too unfair.....(he had hammer, couple axes and was almost as fast as me.... so when i managed to escape from him(whit crampled chassis, causing decent inability to drive straight) i managed to go on the edge of the pit, causing "slightly smarter bot than usually" to drag me almost whit him.)

EDIT(FIX): armor is plastic 5mm, that is the strongest one i can put, since i want bot to remain Beetle Weight
EDIT(number 2): and weight is 165.7

IT'S ADOWABLE! :gawe:
You technically made a BeetleWeight(BW).
Try and make it invertible first, and razors are more effective than polespikes, so use those.
Also, what's with the aluminum rod on top?

don't put different length weapons on your rammer cuz the less long ones will be useless.

make it invertible and don't put some derp vertical extender like that, it's kinda useless

make it less tall aswell

otherwise not bad for a first bot

The aluminium rod is for making bot invertible(or rather to increase change of falling on wheels after being thrown into air by flipper... (the change is pretty good actually like 60-75%), i couldn't make robot invertible whit bigger wheels(they were only ones(or best) what fitted) or thiner chassis( i didn't dragged silinder down(if i remember right),but clicked on lowest point of slider.

Also as i sayied in note, i replaced middle ones whit also razor tips few minutes after making pictures

Reduce chassis height, raise your drive motor up a notch or two. And use Shinies or Vlads. Maybe even Tornados if you can. Should be invertible by then
