looking at it, either the smartzone is fairly small, or it has trouble lifting max weight bots

it doesnt have a flipper?

if your refering to the snaper motor, its just used as an effective wedge

That's right. The burst motor is too small to flip heavyweights, but for some reson it helps the wedge get under stuff better. :)

The flipper is used as a secondary weapon.  Once all the spikes on the drills break, then it will start firing the flipper as a last-ditch effort.  All the spikes haven't broken off in any fights yet, so you haven't seen the flipper get used.

Yea, I did put some teeth on it in hopes that they can do damage if the burst motor is fired. It's not powerfull enough to flip a heavyweight, but maby it could flip one of the multibots if I ever lost all my spikes in a fight with one.(which i doubt will happen)

I finally started building some DSL bots again so here they are. They are remakes of the stonck bots that are in the robot desings folder.

Atom Smasher
. and Pimped Spin Bonker. It has 4 of the biggest batterys for power which is probly more than I need. The wepon motor is an E-tec and it has 4 NPC-64's with micro wheels for drive.

Nice idea on the Spin Bunker that you have attached the spiked clubs like that. That looks nice.

Yes, Atom Smasher is a bit fragile, I think I may resize the chassis and use mag snappers so that I'll have enough weight to use stronger extenders, and maby even better hammers/

thought so :D  i may have a suggestion, if you are willing to spend more weight you could also try making the armour on the front wider and as for the arms try and put spikes facing forward of of them.then you wouldn't have to upgrage the extender strength and also you would do more damage. but of course this will make it quite different from its predesesor.

Hey, it would still be more like it's predesesor than Pimped Spin Bonker is.

well, I suppose it would still look a bit similar, I think it also depends on how you look at it.

A new bot at last! This is a stock DSL replica of a 1940's aircraft. Check it out. :D

As you, can see, the propeller also makes an effective spinning wepon. It weighs just over 500 kilos so it's accually a HW but I fight it as a MW because that's what it would be without all the extra junk.

Wow, nice work with that.  I think that's the first replica-bot I've seen that's both accurate AND combat-worthy.

I havn't played DSL in a while but I did get this jet prototype built.

As you can see, it needs some work still. I havn't added the hovermotor yet because I need the mini one. ( I don't have the Bettle bro's pack for DSL yet) 8)
