3 wedges are useless on HWs. 1 or 2 is fine.

*cough*HnM4*cough* =D

I think any wedge setup has pros and cons. The thing is, most popups seem to have two long wedges on the outside, so I normally have one long wedge in the middle to get between them. And they can't do like Seism 13 in DSL and have adjustable wedges. Having three wedges pretty much negates that possibility if you have a good enough wedge.

And if you have a bad one, you are screwed either way.
I built that big robot on that TV show that time

Lul, I'll fix it up sometime. XD

Anyways, a new bot, which has been a long time in coming. Since, april actually.

Rebuild of mah first showcased bot, Drumbelina. Only downside is that the realisticness is dodgy. Not perfectly invertible either. But meh :P Its a start.

Ah, do the weapons pass through the batts?

Love the concept, though I think the extender work can be simplified.

Why a triple wedge ?

But yeah, it's quite messy right now.

The plastic is there to eat up the weight.

Any ideas how to improve the extender work?

Just ditch the whole stabilizer thingy and use 2 80cm/120cm angled steel sheets (preferably static). Then shift your weapon setup a bit more forward so you can get your 4th ant.
Clash Cubes 1 - Grey Matter (Runner-Up)
King of Karnage - Sideshow Freak (Runner-Up, Best Engineered)
Rust In Pieces - Paper Cut 3 (Grand Champion, Most Dangerous Bot)
Wheely Tag Tournament - Ion Thruster (Grand Champion, along with Ounces' DiSemboweLment)
UK vs USA - Dark Striker (Grand Champion)
Rust In Pieces 2 - Claymore (Runner-Up, Favourite Bot)
BBEANS 6 - Infection 4 (Runner-Up)
RA2 Team Championships - Serious Business, Skeksis (Runner-Up, along with Scrappy, S_M, and Badnik)
RA2 Team Championships 2 - The Other Stig (Runner-Up, along with Scrappy, S_M, Badnik, 090901, and R1885)
Replica Wars 3 - Abaddon (Runner-Up, Luckiest Bot)
BroBots - wheebot & yaybot (Runner-Up)
Robo Zone 2 - Dipper (4th place, Survival Champion, & Best Axle Bot)
ARBBC - The Covenant (3rd place, BW Rumble Winner, Most Feared BW)

Thanks for the help guys, this is what I've come up with. Possibly my best ever drum bot :D

Same armour, same chassis, just in reverse. As realistic as the last one regarding the 120cm skirts, but with one extra ant. Normal NPC's, but it turns really quickly :D

I thought E-Teks had quite a lot of HP, so I reckon they should be fine for a while.

I would prefer 1 wedge for this bot, that and small beater + DS light.
