Looks like quite a good machine, Marty. TA2 is looking promising already. =P

The old one had horrible wedges.....and the weapons weren't very good either, so I'm not surprised...

Anyways, I've had builders block since updating Clowning Around, so I decided to klone something.

Tite 5, 6 ants.

Started out as my take on Vertigo's Absolute Destruction 4, but due to severe AGOD I started again, and it has kinda turned into a Time Bomb Klone. Needs a name and paintjob anyways. My favourite part of the bot is the funky extender work off the shell panel :D

I love how that weapon looks. I thought VS's didn't have as good wedges as bots like popups, 'cause they'd get lifted a little bit by the effect of the discs turning around.

I have to say, I do love lightning spikes...:P

Its wedges seem ok, but it has a problem of falling forwards when a faster bot gets outwedged by it....so I need to do something about that.

Maybe. I'm imagining that the momentum of the bot kicks yours off the ground in that scenario.

May have to downgrade the armour and start experimenting with ways to stop that from happening, but not tonight. The bot also has alot more chucking power than I expected.

Well, I rebuilt the bot (no AGOD here:D) and fixed the flippy problem by downgrading the NPCFs to NPCs, and making the stabiliser thingys larger. 1 less ant now, only 5 now :P

Looks pretty nice, but 16 spikes aren't much on a HW spinner. Does it have trouble losing its weapons too early?
Clash Cubes 1 - Grey Matter (Runner-Up)
King of Karnage - Sideshow Freak (Runner-Up, Best Engineered)
Rust In Pieces - Paper Cut 3 (Grand Champion, Most Dangerous Bot)
Wheely Tag Tournament - Ion Thruster (Grand Champion, along with Ounces' DiSemboweLment)
UK vs USA - Dark Striker (Grand Champion)

Replica Wars 3 - Abaddon (Runner-Up, Luckiest Bot)

It depends on the bot type its facing really. If it can get under the opponent then there is no problem, but if its say, a rammer, it could lose more weapons before its starts to juggle the other bot around.

On another note, I have tried to make my first ever BW today. This is the result-

3 ants in there and Tite 1. I could save weight in a couple of ways, now if I think about it. But any other ideas?

Kewl!

But yeah, you can make it lighter by using a box chassis. You could probably get 3mm plastic from that. :D

He used it for attaching the stabilizers on the other side (since the side of the motor uses one as well). It makes it more realistic as well. :P

(Image removed from quote.)

Always said I would update this thing. Whipped this bot up in 20 minutes.

Wedge or no wedge? That is the question.

Why the T-shaped chassis? What's in the side bits?
Better than GK since 2009.
I think SM is a pretty cool guy, eh builds unicycle-bots and doesn't afraid of anything

Nothing Lol. There used to be a pile of ants until I angled the spinners more (the teeth then cut into the batteries:P). Will rebuild at some point with a rectangular chassis.
