Small chassis with multi extenders attaching the drive either side. The rest depends on what weapon type you want.
Better than GK since 2009.
I think SM is a pretty cool guy, eh builds unicycle-bots and doesn't afraid of anything

I depends on what weight class you are going to build it in. To give you an idea on chassis sizing, I made a middleweight SNS with 2x2 cube chassis.

I ended up following all three posts. First, I was going to post this because I really need help if I want to build an effective SnS, I made a 2x2 chassis (That was actually a coincidence) and used multiextenders to attach the motors.

Here's my weak result:

Before anyone loves posting it:
uuuuuuuuunnnnnndddddeeeeerrrrrwwwweeeiiiigggghhhhhtttttt

Ok. It has DSA armor since I forgot to put some on, and I built it in maybe 5 minutes or 10. So it's merely a test bot.
It's quite maneuverable when on it's feet and up-side down. It isn't very fast, and haven't tested it against the AI yet, because I'm not sure about it's capabilities. In other words, I don't think it will do well.

Ultra-low DP. Loads of Razors would be better.

Good job for a first SnS. You do have 50 kgs. to play with. You might would like to switch your weapon gear to sledges or a lot of razors. A few more tweaks and it will be good.

Ok, thanks. I put the axes there just for the sake of SnS' having weapons.

Thanks. I will experiment some more with the design now.

If you wanted better motors, I would go with NPC Normals for this bot (more HP and higher speed), but if you wanted to do better wheels instead, you could go with technos. I personally would get better motors

Technos are overkill on a LW. Instead of spinning freakishly fast, it would just fly up walls or speed towards the other side of the arena due to the extreme grip. Technos are fine on MWs, but stick to Hypnos for LWs. :D
Clash Cubes 1 - Grey Matter (Runner-Up)
King of Karnage - Sideshow Freak (Runner-Up, Best Engineered)
Rust In Pieces - Paper Cut 3 (Grand Champion, Most Dangerous Bot)
Wheely Tag Tournament - Ion Thruster (Grand Champion, along with Ounces' DiSemboweLment)
UK vs USA - Dark Striker (Grand Champion)
Rust In Pieces 2 - Claymore (Runner-Up, Favourite Bot)
BBEANS 6 - Infection 4 (Runner-Up)
RA2 Team Championships - Serious Business, Skeksis (Runner-Up, along with Scrappy, S_M, and Badnik)
RA2 Team Championships 2 - The Other Stig (Runner-Up, along with Scrappy, S_M, Badnik, 090901, and R1885)
Replica Wars 3 - Abaddon (Runner-Up, Luckiest Bot)
BroBots - wheebot & yaybot (Runner-Up)
Robo Zone 2 - Dipper (4th place, Survival Champion, & Best Axle Bot)
ARBBC - The Covenant (3rd place, BW Rumble Winner, Most Feared BW)

NPC fasts are awesome, but with the choice of motors we have, using technos on a LW is indeed overkill.

2WD NPC Fast + hypnos is a good LW SnS choice.
