You're doing everything right so far, just a few suggestions:

Only use the center attachment point on skirt hinges for flat to the floor wedges, using any other attachment point on them ruins the whole wedge.

Longer wedges are better than shorter wedges when a wedge war comes up

Don't bother with srimechs, they eat weight that is better served elsewhere. Make it invertable, have the weapon double as a srimech, or don't bother.

You still have weight left over, use it.

Its better to have one disc with extenders than three discs. They weigh less and will let you use more weapons.
