Heh, I like a lot of your designs so far. As for the poker up top, you would need 6 ants. General rule for batteries is one an per spin motor(drive, or weapon motors) and powering burst motors with as much as the component description says. Oh and you should use the biggest air tanks instead a bunch of the little ones.

One thing I would suggest for that bot is to make it 2WD NPCF with technos or vlads or something since as is, it's wasting weight.

But yeah, good start :D

Yippee, RA2 DSL TC AI (mouthful!) is working!

EDIT: I have built a new Havok bot, or should I say Bots.
If one wasn't good enough for you then these TWO with a vertical flywheel between them should satisfy you.
These two fused Havoks have TWO Large JX motors (i think it is JX) each motor has 4 Battlepack batteries
2 NPCFs
Perm 80L with a DSL small (spacer) and DSL Small2 disk attached, with four small beater bars
Armour is Ti 5
Flipping arms are Titanium with steel panels on the ends.

Its a beast, best Havok yet IMO.

Sheck it out for yourselves, helpful feedback is welcome.
(I know I should've used ants, but the battle packs were easier to make symmetrical)

I enjoy making small versions of larger bots, so I made a mini Havok Gemini.

Those multi-extenders start above the ants, not in them btw.

Helpful criticism is welcome...

At least try to use BSGs more that Mag Snappers. With the weight you get you can use it for many other things. Also, the little points on the front of the chassis waste weight, and send off robots to the sides when they could go up the front of the wedge. Also, when the flipper's motors are up high on the bot, the flippers work better.
I built that big robot on that TV show that time

Oh, thanks, i'll give those ideas a shot.
It didn't hit me that the points would affect weight, thanks! :)

RA2 DSL TC AI

just call it DSL for simplicity  ;)

just remember white a chassis make look cool it can fill up a lot of weight in your limit.. so its best to minimize the size as much as you can

On Havok Gemini, I believe its overpowered.
1 and for Perm
2 ants for both NPC's
7 ants each for JX's

..so 17 ants total. The more efficient way to do it is 2-3 tall orange batts and 3 ants.

Don't use separate drive for when inverted, use bigger wheels or a srimech.
Better than GK since 2009.
I think SM is a pretty cool guy, eh builds unicycle-bots and doesn't afraid of anything

I had 100ks left and the design worked for the poker (page 3).
I did try a srimech but the BSGs or Mag didn't have enough power to right a HW

2 BSG's are strong enough for a srimech, I would just use bigger wheels though.

I agree with S_M, you could remove the top set of NPCs, and move the bottom set into the middle, give it some bigger wheels, that should work. Also, the chassis could be a little smaller, I think that could give yuo enough weight to use metal hinges for your wedges, they tend to work better than skirts.

No pics yet, but I removed the top set of NPCs and found that the drums self-right the bot
(well, on to its rear really, but it runs on its rear anyway so :/)
Also added Iron spikes to the other side of the Perms so it can also right itself from its side

Used excess weight on armour. Now titanium 5

P.S. I am putting Havok Duo (was Gemini Havok,  but that's copying team Mace's Gemini) onto Robot Exchange.
I would do it now, but I don't know how!

This is probably wrong but...
I have found that the lighter the flipping arm, the more powerful the flip.
I use JX Large bursts.
Have a (relatively) long arc of the flipper
shorter = better

Correct me if I'm wrong but this has fared me well for while I have had DSL
