I usually get to the space filling stage when finished, changing the chassis deletes everything, right?
Also, just noticed that my pics squash so the bots aren't as short as they appear.

Try & make smaller chasis in the first place.
Most of my MWs have 3X4 squares, 4X4, or even 2X4 at minimum height.
A lot of the time, HWs aren't much bigger

EDIT: Nice avatar

Suits, doesn't it?

Anyway...
I just built another Havok...
Havok 4
This one is lower, invertible, not so many batteries and
has the circular saw that was meant to be on Havok 3.

Hi!

Liking the chassis design, would look cool if it wasn't so big. If you're going to do a HW flipper, use a Beta. I know it might be hard getting all the power for it to be awesome, but trust me, its worth it. The chewblade isn't doing much there, and I would remove it or make it a LOT stronger.

IMO, HW flippers should have either 2 beta springs or 4 JXs (I tend to use 4 small JXs on my HW flippers)

Armour is all steel 5 or 10 for Havok 4

These flippers are actually quite powerful, it can throw many robots out of the Robot Wars arena and DSL TC championship arena.

So, you want a smaller one eh?
Here goes!

On the new Havok, the saw is unrealistic because the flipper passes through it. This cannot be.

DSL=realistic. Always build to the weight limit of a weight class. BSG-200 Burst Motors are better than Mag Snappers, so use them. Do not use Any Aluminum armors (very inefficient), or the really heavy armors like Steel 5 or 10. Steel 5 and 10 are overkill.

Thanks for all the help guys!
But the Mini Havok has the saw at the rear because it is undefended, I didn't notice it passed through.
I am in the process of making a Mini Havok II. Same chassis, Al 3 armour, still a Mag-snapper (only one that fits in the chassis) but the saw
now horizontal at the rear and passes through nothing.

Sorry for double post.

The horizontal saw was a fail on many levels, so I cut it completely from the design.
I tried using the MSG-200 for the flipper in a slightly larger chassis design, and it couldn't lift the
wheel in the test area (the flywheel that belonged to some American robot, forget who). With the
Mag motor, it made the wheel hit the ceiling and flipped the car 360o back on to its wheels.
Sadly the srimech makes the bot fly wildly around the arena, too powerful!
Pics
This is all screenshots in one, because I felt like it!

EDIT: As far as I can tell nothing passes through anything, but not at the weight limit for I could add nothing else.

i think you only need 4 ant batteries max for that robot, replace the one at the front with an extender and attack a weapon to it facing out and up about 45 degress (use the angle connector) so that when you flip a robot it will hit that weapon smashbox style, you might also want to make the wedge 20cms longer.

you should check other showcases for tips on what weapons to use :) some are much better then others.

That is a mag snapper, not a T-Minus or Judge Snapper?

Vertigo: It is the third burst motor in the list, under the two MSG-200s.
Ianh05: 1 battery more = Havok physics engine flipper malfunction, the bot jumps too mush
1 battery less, and it doesn't even lift the car. One of those balanced situations.

Also, what are the weight restrictions for AW and BW?
I think can make that into a AW flipper and a BW popup (is that where stuff comes up underneath a bot fire-storm style?).

Edit: Just flipped HW Second Sentinel OOTA on DSL Tournament arena! Just a test!

Mush

under the two MSG-200s.
lol

For your first question, AWs are 125 kgs or less, and BWs are from 125.1 - 175 kgs.  For your second question, yes.

the Car is tough to lift for any LW, try flipping some crates to test your flipper as other LW's won't weigh as much as that car.

About the AW thing, I have edited Havok MinII to have less batteries but still flip the car 360 but weighs 174.2kg, so just a beetleweight! Might add batteries again and make a lightweight.
Also, I cant flip any more heavyweights OOTA, it seems to be a fluke, shud've got a pic!

EDIT: I have made a Havok Ant!
