THAT WHIRLWIND IS THE ONE THAT RIPPED MY PRECIOUS CROCODILE APART! Jokes aside, I love your bots dude, the black and "insert whatever other colour you use" colour scheme is great and I love how you make everything fit so nicely together. Whirlwind, Raging Bull and OITNB are some of my favourites here. I'm looking forward to seeing the Vulkan series in Doot's tourney too! :D

Can confirm it does, and with the upgrade i made it more reliably flip the bots with less fires that lead to itself being destabilised! Thanks that's something i try to have to most of my machines a low profile :laughing

Well it's been awhile since i've posted here, with the new Robot Wars starting sunday i felt the need to recreate one of the machines! I chose Rapid and the new version from the BBC promo clips. I am pretty happy with the machine as it both fits into DSL IRL HW weight limits and is IRL (If i'm correct). Here it is:

Super clean, I really dig it. My only tiny complaint would be that the area behind the plexi panels and above the wheels/drive motors feels a lil bit empty, but that's a very small thing. Really neat build.

Yeah that's something that slightly annoys me as well, but there isn't much i can fit there sadly.

Here are three "new" machines! The first and second version of Titan (Because i forgot to show the original when i made it and want to show the second upgraded version, Whoops) and a recoloured rapid replica with few changes.

Been a while. Made a few new things since last update.
Here's 2 new machines Fury and Invictus Warfare.
Fury:
2 wd NPC fasts, 6 mag powered bar. Low profile to mean it will always get a hit before the enemy can reach the body.

Invictus Warfare:
4 wd NPC fasts, Flat motor powered beater, heavily armoured and compact. Designed to take hits and control fight with the beater weapon to eat away at exposed under chassis.

Any opinions welcome, but if you dislike or have an issue please explain it so i can take it into consideration on next builds or even fix :smile: Thanks

Overall style of both is great like usual. Only issues I have would be making Invictus’s side panels look more attached, and maybe something besides a hex plate as the peak ap for Fury’s blade, maybe an orange 45degree piece? (Though I have no clue about hp comparisons atm)

Thanks! :) Yeah that's something I'm definitely going to do if i make a new version, and the hex plate was just a final addition to the bot so serves no real purpose.

Eucatastrophe:
2WD npc fasts, 2x Perm 132 spinning blades.
Wanted to make a dual spinner design like 13 Black and decided to change the colour scheme up a bit (Hope to do more in different colours from now on :laughing)

Raging Bull:
6WD npc fasts.
Tried to make the most compact as possible rammer with still a very good drive chain, so made this which is just over 30cm tall in game with little space inside the frame left unused. Built like a brick to fight spinners. (Am going to try and make the small parts of the npcs not visible)

BARBITE 2:
2WD npc fasts, Perm 132 weapon.
Original BARBITE was the first extender bot i made so felt the need to update it, Original was inspired by carbide. Latest is inspired by both Carbide and Tombstone.

E.N.T.ii.T.Y:
4WD npc fasts, 2x Medium VDMAs.
Was happy with the performance of the original Entity but felt that the internals and looks could be made allot better. So here's the result, very happy with it myself.

Raging Bull - the old RB was pretty cool and this one looks even better, love the orange side parts!

Oof, Nearly on the third page. Guess it's time to resurrect my showcase. Haven't built much recently but here are two "new" machines for bagmans tourney.
Poison Gas:
Wow look totally new. 4wd NPC fasts two flat motors for the drum.

Neon Revolution:
Decided i wanted to build an icewave type bot. Here was the result. 4 TWM3Rs drive and a Six Mag for the weapon.

CROC: An art bot, 2 NPC fasts. Top jaw on burst.

Durable as Pin 2: A TaN clone, much nicer than the original. Two burst (IDk specific ones) in main body TMWR2s for drive in each side part.

Daughter of Whyachi: 6 Mag hammer tri bar weapon. 4x TMR drive, was a possible bagman entrance but made neon revolution after and was much happier with that.

Invictus: Dual perm Warhog clone. Also houses 4x NPC Fasts. Decided to try get the best things I could for weapon and drive. Probably won't be entered into much due to insane instability. Also due to what i used couldn't do much in the looks department.

Lunch Box: A new single tooth drum based of S P I C Y N E W T/ Poison arrow. 4x NPC fasts and 2 flats powering the drum. Wanted to make the smallest thing i could. And succeeded. About the size of a lw/mw. Happy with the technical-ness of the build but as others have already said it doesn't have much character as such.

Tail With a Twist: More Concept/Arty type bot. 4x NPC fasts, Wow what a surprise. Designed to whip round and hit bots with it's hammer tail. Haven't been able to get a decent enough ai for it too be able to drive properly for me to enter it into anything yet.

SHW:
Whirlwind 3: Six mag Nightmare style vert. 2x NPC fasts drive. Built to defend my SHW Skirmish title in OW. Added burst srimech too help it in flipper fights.

CW:
Death is Drumming 2: New DiD machine same internals as the last CW version but more compact and imo looks much nicer. Teamed with Whirlpool for SHW in RG2

Whirlpool Class CW: 6 Mag FBS TMR2s for drive, not much to say "Generic FBS #3843294" i guess sums it up?

Shrekarator: 6 Mag undercutter that lies virtually against the floor. 2 TMRs for drive. Was going to be RG2 CW but replaced by the next bot. Will be entered into the next CW tourny that is ran.

NotWhyachi: Saw dscs using a shuffler system and read through the rules again. New i had to make a shuffler, so made somethin inspired by the most notorious shuffler ever, SoW. Dual perm Tri hammer. Sorry i guess :p

MW:
Black Box: 4 Mag hs, 2 TMR2s for drive. Again wanted small as possible as you can see. Not too good visually but limited again. Made for MW OW2 side event.

Small: Flat motor powered Huge clone. TMR drive. Too hyped too see a HW Huge so decided to make one myself in MW.

Foxhound: Flat powered VS. Wanted small again so pretty compact internally. RG2 and OW2 side event LW. Military look.

Hey, they're all quite spicy. Whirlwirl 3 & DOW being my favourite of the bunch. Wish you'd have entered your huge bot somewhere.

Croc: it's cute
Durable as a pin 2: seems inspired by the one altapowerdog bot with the googly eyes that isn't crave monster
D.O.W: a better name would of be the grand-daughter of whyachi, but it's pretty cool
Invictus: nothing much I could add, other than that I wouldn't consider it a Warhog clone
Lunchbox: the paint scheme is amazing, other than that it's very poison arrow
Tail with a twist: S.M.I.S.D.Y the thwack bot
Whirlwind 3: very much a nightmare clone, and I just Perfer the other one. This looks like a downgrade in every single way.
Death is drumming 2: if poison arrow met a chop saw and tried to hide his wounds, anyways it is still pretty cool
Whirlpool class cw: I like it and love the teeth setup
Shrekarator: simply amazing, one of the best dsl bots
Not whyachi: those hammers just don't fit in with the rest of the bot, but I expect it to dethrone biohazard
Black boy: it's hideous
Small:even worse than black boy
Foxhound:reminds me of team velocity's first bot, and I love it
The God John: it's a overhead BW. Nothing else to say

My first ever successful extender vert, so im happy with it :D 2x Npc fast drive 2x Flat for weapons

Compact front hinge, tried to pack a powerful flipper into a small box, think i've managed that. 2x Npc fast + 2x Tmr for drive. 2x Storm burst for flipper

Eucatastrophe 2:
Disappointed with it's performance in OW2 rumble so redesigned it with a srimech. 2x TMR2s for drive and 2 Perms for the weapons

Neon Revolution 2:
Felt like i could build it much more efficiently, so i did. Steel wedge now at front and heavier, longer and stronger bar. 4x Tmr for drive and 6Mag for weapon

Raging Bull 3:
Wanted to try make it look cleaner and get it as small as i possibly could. 6x Npc fast for drive.

Death Is Drumming 3:
Took me a while to build something that compares too the second one and I have finally done so. Slightly smaller with large beaters on the drum compared to the medium on DiD2 so more damage output. 4x Npc fasts and 2x Flat motor for the drum.

E.N.T.iii.T.Y:
Wanted more power in the flipper so redesigned. Here's the outcome, smaller in height. 4x Npc fasts and 2 Meduim wide bursts for the flipper.

I'd love to hear all opinions, helps with getting more perspectives for building next time

I'm a fan of all of them except the first two. The tooth setup on Virtus is really ugly IMO and I'm not entirely sure about the little feeder wedge bit on the front either (I know there's bots like Shard with a similar setup to that but I'm not really a fan of it looks wise). I can't really put my finger on what it is about Shock Collar that I'm not a fan of but there's just something about it.
Other than that they're excellent though. I'm a fan of Eucastrophe in particular. Nicely executed.

All the bots of yours I love are back improved and looking sexy as hell! Shock Collar....new version of Vulkan perhaps? Massive fan of it but like Robo said: something seems off about it but unsure what. In any case, I am losing DiDIII and E.N.T.iii.T.Y and hope to see all these bots take part in something soon! :mrgreen:
