Use drive motors instead. What armor does it have?

I'm pretty sure the orange would be enough to power that lot, but they shouldn't be polycarbonate extenders, they break so easy, and under the realistic rule those wedges wouldnt really be allowed, am i right?

EDIT: You could lose some weight off that heavy armour.

That's not bad for a first DSL bot.

However, Eteks are only for weapon purposes... Drive Eteks are for driving purposes.

Anyways Etek drive is complete overkill on a MW flipper and IMO you don't even need Etek drive on ANY middleweight. Get NPC drive with Vladiator wheels, update these to Mag Snappers, and try to get 4-5 battlepacks in that.

As a general rule do NOT underpower (That is, having a total amp value provided by all of your batteries tinferior to the amp value drained by all of your motors) bots with active burst motor weapons like flippers, hammers or popups.

Also you can just use metal sheets for flippers... just make sure they touch the ground. They are stronger than your current flippers, as well as lighter and less big of a target.

However small wedges on burst motors like you have are the best wedges you can get in DSL and go under every other type of wedge if built well... so it's your choice.

Also, can you please convert your images into JPGs or PNGs. They are a lot faster to load.

EDIT: Naryar, snapper wedges with burst motors are not always better than other wedge types, even if well built.
Any comments would be appreciated. :D

I find that when weight becomes an issue that metal hinges are more efficent...

Correct. Metal hinges are a tad less effective than snapper wedges, but effective nonetheless.

For AWs and BWs, weight management is the key, so you don't need to slope the chassis unless necessary. Next, use Copals or Astroflights instead of Piglets. And you can use the multi-extenders instead of baseplate anchors. :D

What I recommend is a T-shaped chassis, with the wide end for the wheels and battery.

Also, try to visualize what you are building, and try to create a skin-tight chassis out of it. You'll more or less get the rough size of your bot.

Using Piglets for drive motors are a really bad idea, for almost half of the Piglet's weight you could use Copals and probably be able to go much faster. Also, you might want to use two ant batteries instead of a battlepack at this point since they are much lighter and at least as powerful if not more. You should probably also use a multiextender to attach the front weapon, without any other extenders unless you want more weapons, of course.
