Would the Pussycat Blades not be better all pointing upwards? =)

Wish I could, but p-cat blades only have one connection point.  However, I kinda like how it looks semi-messy like that because it further adds to the bull=chaos factor.  I don't know for sure, but I think that those blades don't have normals because each one seems to do a decent amount of damage hitting from either side of the blade.

Thanks for the compliments.  :D

Dear god, that's brilliant.

I'm a little worried about those exposed wheels, however...

Excellent use of Overkill blades and actually using hex plates how they were originally intended!

I never would have thought of integrating Overkill blades into the design like that.

Unfortunately it's going to be gut-ripped by the first VS it comes across... 'tis a shame.

IRL Lightweight for 2L2Q3

Now that my old mac laptop is officially retired and I am up and running with the ancient iMac, I am able to skin bots again.  Which is inspiring me to build more.

nice, will probably be a challenging opponent for my (potential) entry
How you make Alarm Clock Pizza is:
Step 1: You buy an alarm clock from the store, and then you have to break it and put it in the sauce.
Step 2: Fold the sauce in 5 slices and put it in the dough.
Step 3: Paint the eggs with a pitcher of a clock showing what time you want to wake up and eat pizza for breakfast.
Step 4: Put the eggs in the dough.
Step 5: Make it flat into a round shape and draw the time you want on it.
Step 6: Put some old steel to prevent other peple from stealing it.
Step 7: Make it flat and cut into 60 slices 1 for each minute in 1 our.
Step 8: Put in the oven set the timer to 30048813.2884 seconds and put the temperature on 'Volcano' setting.
Step 9: If you think it is take to long, then get yor alarm clock and set it to now so that it will ring and you can take it out.
Step 10: Take it out uv the uvin wen it is redy and go to bed. In the morning eat pizza and also eat yor hands bi mistake.

Very nice bot. How did you do the rivets around the edge, is that a custom edge decal? Top notch skin.

Looking nice. I'm not a fan of the wheel position, but it looks great aside from that. I'm wondering if it'd be even cooler if the spinner was to raise and lower on a servo arm in a Dustpan!-style fashion.

Looks really cool, but the flipper segments are not doing it any favors. If you could make it look like uniform roundbar with more round extenders it would be perfect.

Very nice bot. How did you do the rivets around the edge, is that a custom edge decal? Top notch skin.

Rivets around the edge are done with a paintbrush in photoshop.  Kind of time consuming... I am thinking about making a more detailed rivet that I can copy pasta or use the stamp tool in PS.

Haha! I like that idea.  Don't know if I could squeeze it into a lightweight though.  Maybe a MW version.

Agreed.  I am not liking the flipper segments either.  I will fix that up before it gets submitted for the tourney (hopefully)

Thanks for all the feedback guys!  I'm kind of a fan with the wheel position.  I like to think that if the bot was truly a IRL design that having the wheels protected there would be pretty accurate.  If I try to embed them in the chassis, the bot gets fat, which I don't like.  (I just don't like the color of those wheels... hmmmm... might skin those if they don't have to be decompiled or any of that voodoo)

Nobody likes the miniwheel's color anyways.

You are aware than inner wheels like that decrease your turn speed, which is already pretty low with that drive and which is vital for such a design ? I am fully aware that you are doing this to protect them and for cool looks... but just saying.

Thanks for the advice.  I will take that into account when, perhaps, I make a design that is similar but aimed toward effectiveness.  :D

Updated bot:  Adjusted the the weapon "arms" to make them more realistic.  Overshot the weight limit which forced me to use Large Ant wheels... which actually look nicer IMHO. (didn't check the HP stats though)
