Instead of that extender+angler setup, just use 2 flipper segments (stronger & lighter). With the free weight, add 2 more teeth.

Yeah the extender work is funky. And in a bad way.

Most definitely agreed.

Well, IMO making a ripoff is fine if you want to learn or if it the ripoff better than the original robot... however, here it ISN'T.

I agree with that point..

such as SKBT cloning my T-Road design on the LW then beating my LW version (though mine was more original :P) or even myself producing Gyratory Reborn that was a clone that was expanded on

that is why I used the term cookie cutter for this.. just really a rip off of someone elses efforts. not the best way to go about thinking when building ;)

okay so after the major outbreak of the dumb i had yesterday (i dont know why i did that but it's probably something to do with my extreme depression yesterday (but i am definitley not going to use it in any tournament at all)) im going to try and make up for it by showcasing my RA2TC entry (seeing as signups are practically closed)

It has lots of funky extender work that i didnt know how to get rid of, so you guys will be able to help me there

Finally a CCIV attempt that doesn't suck! (that much)

Yes it has a hole in the skirts and is hopelessly underweight, even with plastic 10 armor

SO SUE ME

Erm, seriously though, assuming i'm seeing that right, is there any need for all those flippermakers just to make a flipper?

2 BSGs are preferable for a LW flipper. Otherwise it kinds just turns them over.

Although true, do you have any idea how ridiculous that statement sounds? :laughing

*must remember to put in memorable quotes thread once it's old enough*

And yeah, best thing you can do for your flipper is to give it 2 BSG's, or at least upgrade the one BSG to a JX if you feel like sacrificing some effectiveness for originality, which will either way require a rebuild to fit more batteries.

Yeah. It's better to have the wheels in the middle and not need a back stabeliser than to have one and not be able to self-right.
