Instead of axle wedges, use metal hinges or just put on a halfsheet or casters as underarmor.
Also, get E-Tek drive.

The half sheet is on a metal hinge and it already has a sh**-ton on bottom protection.

just saying that mako wedges are pretty outdated.

It looks pretty solid otherwise. Can your extender work be lightened more ?

And can you use something else than that 4000 HP half-sheet for top protection?

Not really...

Yeah, I changed a few things. It's 1200 kg now.

It can be lightened -you can attach a pair of Piglets to the DSL bars, with a 40cm poly extender and save weight.

The outermost pair is attached to the DSL bars. If you mean on the middle AP, it just wouldn't line up right.

I've done quite a few test matches with various bots and haven't lost a piglet yet. I rather like the configuration.

That looks really nice. The mako wedges obviously aren't ideal at the speed the bot will travel at though.

Why?  It's NPC Normal on a SHW....  It's even slower than Mako.

For Super Duper Sumos.

5 ants and 10mm Steel because it an-heros against walls and I had a sh**-ton of weight that I had nothing better to do with.

Edit: The wedges are another Mako wedge incarnation. Polycarbonate skirt => 90 degree axles => Titanium angled skirts all mounted on the center AP of a skirt hinge.

This bot can be easily outwedged, right ?
He still looks very fast and pushy
And what the piston snowplow is doing ?

I'm unsure about the wedges. I try all different types of wedges other than the standard ones, but most of them suck.

The piston is basically to give it a little extra push.

I built it to be rear-heavy to prevent that, but it's still somewhat light in the ass-end. You think ballasts would be acceptable?

Don't use ballasts. I say move one set of e-teks behind the chassis.

I'd say move both sets behind the chassis. That should also give you better turning, and there's no need to worry about them falling off at all. Should also give you the desired heavy arse.

...What do you think I will answer ? Of course they aren't !

also it's just absurdly fast, and besides considering the tourney is a tabletop with a wall you'll just have to hope the other bot goes oota before you do.

also that wall causes problems, considering both bots will be very fast i don't think you can send one easily over the wall without both going over or flipping.

He said he was removing the wall.

For MW SDS
1mm Plastic
2 ants

Chassis was planned for a BW, but it kind of grew into a MW.
