I know. What I meant is that I just used my MW and slightly modified it to be a HW.
Oh I'll be doing some banging.......

There. A slightly better HW with a good flamethrower. It's made to defend against HS.
797.8 (99.7kg/219lbs) and Tit3.

I'm going to start cleaning up my robots. I honestly wish I could start over and come to GTM as a new builder.

Looking back on the showcase, I see these terrible DSL-S robots that can't even do well in IRL tournies. I feel as if I'm ruining the art of IRL building.

What is good for me is mediocre for everyone else. When I started this showcase, I didn't expect it to be the laughingstock of the GTM IRL community.

What's even worse is that I kept defending my terrible robots saying "no, it's fine, it doesn't need that, etc." because I was lazy and didn't want to take 5 or less minutes to fix it. Even though I knew what you guys were saying was right, for an unknown reason I just ignored your help even though I knew you were helping me. Or trying to, anyways.

When I get back from Kirkland, I'm going to put more thought and effort into my bots AND ACTUALLY LISTEN TO YOU GUYS.

This doesn't mean my bots won't suck, but least you will know I'm trying.

I'm serious. I'm tired of people saying my bots are terrible and knowing they're right.

And to the people who kept trying to help despite my extreme ignorance, thank you. This time I'll do what you say.

EDIT: Oh my god, looking back again at my showcase I just had the stupidest arguments. I am truely ashamed. Again, sorry everyone. Oh yeah, and I'm still not doing DSL-S unless it's for a tournement with realistic rule enabled and controlled movement.

EDIT 2: this is what autism is?

Start building DSL-S seriously, then go back to IRL if you desire.

Far too many newbies these days start by IRL and can't build well as a rule.

I might not be able to build well effectively. But at least I try damn it!

Blah blah blah angle connectors are bad blah blah blah empty space blah blah BLAH.
I realised my bots weren't generic enough, and that's why they weren't winning.
244.1 (67lbs/30.5kg). Alu3.

you could totally fit npc drive in there if you switched to the smaller ripping teeth and lost the angle connector. it would also give the bot a cleaner look.

edit: wait... i already did that...

I already did that

I hate normals.

Cliffhanger, Pl3 (maybe Alu3, can't remember).
Does crappy damage, but the pickaxe goes well with the theme. Probably going to be my 2nd LW in Paranoia AI. May be the primary LW for Alpha 0.4. Rear spikes for looks and so it doesn't get caught on its back. Self-rights very well.

Looks rather nice, you might want to re-test the design against 0.3.0's bots when it comes out though.

Another Paranoia bot:
It's called "Don't Tread On Me". I'm probably going to give it a camoflage skin and put "KEEP OFF THE GRASS" somewhere.
It's really powerful, but prone to Pushkin other hammers/axes.
Weight is 398.3, I think tit5 but it could be tit3.
HW may be uploaded tomorrow, depends if I'm happy with how the frame turns out.

It looks alright, though as I've said you may want to test it against the newly released 0.3.0 bots such as the new Pushkin and the community bots.

I already downloaded it for tomorrow (or technically later today), but it's almost 2am and I'm tired.

797.7, Steel 5.
I had WAY too much weight left over and I couldn't make proper IRL wheel guards, so I just maxed out the armour and added some more pointy things. Possible Primary HW for Paranoia AI, if I can build a better one then this will be a secondary.

The plow seems kinda small. The side hammers also look a bit awkward.

Seems ok, but 4wd Astros on a rammer is a big no-no.
Use less batteries.
