Great to see you're building again. =)

It looks awesome, but I'm not sure how well it would do with such little weaponry.

Yeah, I'll need to test it against contemporary builds, which means I need to update my NAR AI, I guess.

I don't even know how building has evolved much, just started browsing showcases now.
My above post explains everything about everything.

Frankly I don't see the point of a dual mag or NPC drive if you are going for combat effectiveness. That being said, it is a pretty cool design.
Any comments would be appreciated. :D

Started going over my NAR AI teams for Nary. I'm going to rebuild anything that needs it.

Team 42 was relatively easy. Judging from NAR AI 2.7's bindings, the bots weren't updated to the incarnations I'd had. Here's the team now:

Clockwise from top left:

Pan Galactic Gargle Blaster 2: No changes since I last showcased it.
Enigma Redux: Complete rebuild I made recently. 4 BSG's.
Marvin 2: No changes since it was made a while back. About as good as a Sir K Drill dome FSS can get unless I put the Dual Perm out of the chassis.
Mostly Harmless 2: No change from most recent showcased edition.
Deep Thought 2: Now has 9 razors and a large beater bar. NPC Fast.
Plural Zone. It's not the best bot, but seems to perform decent enough. No changes from its life as 'Kit Car' except skin.

My above post explains everything about everything.

Heavy Metal: Champion (Mockery of the Whole Concept)

Clash Cubes IV: 5th place (Fretless)
BBEANS 6: Rumble Winner & 6th Place (Minifridge 4)

Another easier team here, Team G.K. The team's just some of my favourite/successful (in case of Minifridge 6) bots. Not the most competitive.

Clockwise from top left:

Lobos CP: New rebuild of my LW popup. I'm trying to lose 10kg off it for hypnos but it's decent enough. Can sometimes outwedge DoA2 (No idea if it is a benchmark any more - if someone could tell me that would be appreciated).

Defiance of Asimov: Not changed since I showcased it way back.

AAM? Never! - Unchanged.

Minifridge 6 - Replaces Minifridge 4 here, to date my only solo tournament winning bot.

BW - Gracchus - Replacing Tribune, a rammer that didn't even get into NAR AI (though I built it just now using Tribune's chassis), this is probably a clone, idk.

Fedex Uno 2 - Again obsolete now but I look back on it fondly.
My above post explains everything about everything.

Potential SHW for BB7. Called False Poker for obvious reasons.

About 100kg underweight. Thoughts for changes?

Up the chassis armor?  Or throw 3 flamethrowers in there.

Nice. What does it look like at the back? Perhaps you could add a thwacking tail, kinda like SWARM or that one Pwnator made with the 70kg hammers.

2 YEAR BUMP YAY

I'm getting more into IRL building these days. Here's something I made today.

Tuning Fork was designed for the looks, but has ended up being quite a competent frequency rammer as well. 12-wheel drive.

Pretty interesting, I like it. In particular I like the chassis shape and spikes + wheels at the back.
I'm not a fan of the iron spikes on the sides though, they look a little too long for me, maybe lightning spikes would work as a replacement? (a little lower down on the sides too, since the lightning spikes are wider)
The wheels at the front are interesting too, I can't decide whether I like those or not. I think I would switch the back wheels to hypnos too for consistency, but on the other hand the wider back wheels look cool already... I can't decide :S
Finally, is it possible to add an extender between the two sets of blades at the front, as an IRL support?
Overall, I think it's a pretty cool build

I'm not a fan of the iron spikes on the sides though, they look a little too long for me, maybe lightning spikes would work as a replacement? (a little lower down on the sides too, since the lightning spikes are wider) That's a good shout, will experiment with that.
The wheels at the front are interesting too, I can't decide whether I like those or not. I think I would switch the back wheels to hypnos too for consistency, but on the other hand the wider back wheels look cool already... I can't decide :S I carefully disguised this, but it's actually 12WD :P
Finally, is it possible to add an extender between the two sets of blades at the front, as an IRL support? I've already reached the Rule of 7 but as IRL's not 100% about combat efficiency I guess I could lose one sawblade off each set and do that
Overall, I think it's a pretty cool build Cheers!
