I think they look pretty cool. YOu can use metal hinges just give us a real life example.

PotO looks alright. Perhaps you could drop the armour to Plastic 3, and make the Small Wedges a bit wider, maybe by mounting them on seperate skirt hinges.

just get rid of them and be done with it, use skirt hinge wedges if you're that desperate not to use a chassis wedge

I like the Road Rage one, and regarding IRL, that can be made in real life. Also, it's YOUR showcase, so YOU get to choose whether you can keep the hinges or not. I'd keep them.

Sure, but then it wouldn't be IRL. The whole point of IRL is to have a forum-wide building standard.
