NPCs are too much for that. Go with Mags and upgrade your stabilizers. Never sacrifice too much HP for power unless you are sure bots rarely touch them (jugglers and shell can easily rip them off).

Try mounting your motors like this.

Putting your drives closer to the chassis will increase stability and allow you to turn and face the other bot quicker.

Also you might want to try using a longer ME to attach the perm. It will be invincible and might save weight.

I dunno what to blow the last 10 kg's on. Don't say add NPC fasts, as they make it fly into the air when it turns. Same armour and ants.

What will happen if you get outwedged though? If you get outwedged your weapon wont hit the opponent but if you have no wedges it will.

Wouldnt Mag drive + Hypnos be roughly the equivalent of, and lighter than, NPC's + DSL wheels? (Waits for Pwn to knock that statement dry:P)

DSL's have only 0.1 less grip than Hypno's, so no.

Same thing applies to most gut-rippers. Which is why it's always a risk to take when a wedge is attached (especially in rammers).

And the bot looks much better now. :D

Mags + Hypnos is somewhat equivalent to NPCs + Large ants, so NPCs + DSL1s is faster.
