Ok, does anybody know the required amps for 4 spring loaded betas and 2 e-teks? Cause I have no clue.

You can alter the chassis and mount those Etek-drive externally, which can save you a lot of weights.

12 PC545 are more than enough

210*4 + 20 = 860 amp

while 840/1.6 + 20 = 545, you need 860 for burst to have full power.  Field test suggest the difference is significant.

I prefer using redpack over PC545.  While 30 red pack + 2 ants weights 30kg more than 14 PC545 + 2 ants, the space it takes to fit 4 redpack is = 1 PC545, which is quite a lot of space saved.

Improved it to 10 PC625's, 4 Battlepacks and 2 ants. Also, upgraded the armour to Titanium 3 with the spare weight.

oop, just remembered one of the origonal complaints, that the wedges weren't strong enough. Upgrade to Alu for the Metal Hinges, and Steel for the flipper.

EDIT: ARRRGH WITH STEEL IT BACKFLIPS ITSELF :FFFUUU

Phew... Finally fixed that. Made it all titanium and upgraded the armour to Plastic five. I think this robot is done with.

Edit button?

You could keep the steel flippers and have some wedges on the back for ant-flip purposes, see HazCon if you're unsure of what I mean.

I did that to some extent on Invertigo. Besides, Titaniums are OK with me.

If your up for the challenge, just say "Sure ill be part of your challenge" or something.

What's the chassis armor?

You can also use something lighter than DSL bars for the extenders, and I don't think the spikes in the center of the disks are doing much.

...and metal hinge wedges.

I use them specially. I've allready tried with Titanium Extenders, and if one of them goes, it's all over, so DSL bars are best.
