it seems the odd attachment point on the Backlash disc allows it to be realistic on the perm

I only asked as if you out something like a DSL disc of the same size on that perm it would cut into the perm

I still recommend those angled skirts,

I fixed the stability issue by raising the Perm by 10cm. Now the testing begins.

Those polycarbs look like HS food. I'd drop the motors to astros and use the weight to get aluminum sheets. I'd also question the realisticness of the spinner. It looks like one side passes through the perm and perm belt.

Edit: I just built your weapon system. The DSL bar and Beater Bar clearly interersect the Perm axel and belt. Also you could attach the Perm like I did with a longer multi extender.

I used a EL, not a L. And besides, number 2 has Alu's.

Try not to be so generic when building bots, try stuff no one else has thought of yet. Look at some of Clickbeetles and MikeNCR's work for inspiration.

People will like your bots more if they haven't seen them before, just my opinion though :)

just think Pop-ups were new once, so were flail weapons and jugglers. when someone comes up with a new idea a lot of people are like "oh man why didn't i think of that?" well it's because they follow old trends :)

you just need to play around with different weapon/armor setups in different positions on your bots.
