On the contrary; 2 astros and a piglet can run at full power with 2 ants.

Nope.

Yep.

2 astros and a piglet can run at full power with 2 ants.

For about 0.033 seconds. If you've got 4 motors, you really do need 4 ants, or you're going to run out of juice ridiculously quickly.

Here's the last IRL Realistic bot I'm making. I'm passing the torch to DSC and Thyrus, they can handle it much better than me. You will see a few from time to time, but for now...

Enjoy.

That's not actually that bad. =) Perhaps if the front icepicks were the other way round, with the points at the bottom.

Agreed, it tilts back too much, you'll probably just end up hitting the very top of other bots most of the time, when you really want to hit them as low as possible.

I've been having fun with this bot for like 2 days now, so I think it deserves to be posted.

Point = Missed.

I think it's pretty well executed, personally. I might have used a different motor than the Dual Mag, though, not sure which.

I suppose the Duals are necessary because it's not using flails, but they work fine with lower power motors like normal TWMR3s if they do have flails.
Good though.

Something inside me craves for a Diamond Cutter rebuild with Harpoons. Shame my upstairs PC is broken, no bots until Saturday at the earliest.
