Not bad. I'd bring the wedges together so you don't have a gap. Then I'd bring the wheel guards in closer aswell. Also those wedges look like they're far below where the wheels are.

Yes, cool looking standard. I can imagine the matilda teeth keeping some bots from going up the wedge. But it looks cool.

I believe CB made a HW with that same sort of weapon setup, so no, you're not going insane.

I wouldn't recommend having the FS flippers attached to the shell panels like that, when either of the panels come off that's half of your armor gone. Try to get the weight so that you can have 4 FS flippers.
