Side hammers would OMNOMNOM on that pretty fast.

You won't be seeing many of those... However like you said Rammers and HS would likely have their wicked ways with that.
Any comments would be appreciated. :D

Skyress would be a lot better with ants/micros and strenghthened extender work. A wide HS would ahnilate it much too quick for my liking.

Please analyze the characteristics of a downward poker before you go blabbering about false stuff.

If anything, its extender work should be brittle on the top (as if it can fend off VSes and hammers), so you can achieve a wider stance. It's your choice to downgrade your lower extender work as well, but it might be helpful since it can also make your bot taller.

And try using a Storm instead of a VDMA. If that can't help you self-right, never mind. XD
Clash Cubes 1 - Grey Matter (Runner-Up)
King of Karnage - Sideshow Freak (Runner-Up, Best Engineered)
Rust In Pieces - Paper Cut 3 (Grand Champion, Most Dangerous Bot)
Wheely Tag Tournament - Ion Thruster (Grand Champion, along with Ounces' DiSemboweLment)
UK vs USA - Dark Striker (Grand Champion)
Rust In Pieces 2 - Claymore (Runner-Up, Favourite Bot)
BBEANS 6 - Infection 4 (Runner-Up)
RA2 Team Championships - Serious Business, Skeksis (Runner-Up, along with Scrappy, S_M, and Badnik)
RA2 Team Championships 2 - The Other Stig (Runner-Up, along with Scrappy, S_M, Badnik, 090901, and R1885)
Replica Wars 3 - Abaddon (Runner-Up, Luckiest Bot)
BroBots - wheebot & yaybot (Runner-Up)
Robo Zone 2 - Dipper (4th place, Survival Champion, & Best Axle Bot)
ARBBC - The Covenant (3rd place, BW Rumble Winner, Most Feared BW)

yet it seemed to defeat hammer head shark and raving mad pretty easily..

Yeah, i know the extenders are quite weak, but there wasnt much I could do about it with the weight allowance..

@pwn: More good advice lol. Shall try that out (although I believe there was a reason why I didn't use the storm burst in the first place, but I cant remember)

I would be concerned about an HS flailing about and hitting them.
Any comments would be appreciated. :D

And I wouldn't be concerned about that, as the top extender work should be long enough to avoid these situations.

Hmmm... probably. Anyways, I am no expert on downward pokers so I'm probably wrong.
Any comments would be appreciated. :D

Funny thing is its kinda just one extender. Didn't think of sectioning it. That might help :P

Sectioning it doesn't really change a thing (other than complicating you due to the rule of 7). HP is proportional to the length in DSL, unlike stock. XD

I have enough experience with my LW FG to tell you that most bots will hit your legs at some point and some can knock off a 20x40 DSL bar in two hits. But you have to sacrifice the leg strength for the piston I guess.
Better than GK since 2009.
I think SM is a pretty cool guy, eh builds unicycle-bots and doesn't afraid of anything

For Skyress, you can use carbon fiber extender instead of polycarb.  You can significantly increase the bot's width that way.

BTTB 4 bot:

Npc fast, 6 ant batts, perm 80s, 1 mm titanium, with caster armour

Its pretty deadly, though the wedges are average. It would be better if it wasnt on a slant, but i wanted to keep the original look of it. Snapper wedges too. Tired to put 4 disks on there, but it wouldnt fit, so its got 3 instead :P

Only needs an AI then ill send it off to G.K.

BountyHunter.py has no spin command. You can wire the drive to the srimech of any normal AI tho.

Hmmm, I hope this is my showcase...

ANYWAY, I felt like building a robot (for once) and the first thing that came to mind was a bar spinner, so this was the result:

1 mm Titanium. Pluck at it at will while I build another failed contraption of some sort :P
