Looks like quite a good concept, I suppose. With a few tweaks, it could probably be a killer. If you swapped for Metal Hinges, as has been suggested, that should improve your wedginess immediately. Also, if the Spike Clubs were swapped for Razor Tips, and positioned so they swung backwards, like a true popup, that could help an opponent that hasn't gotten to the drums yet.

Better, although still quite a bit messy. I've got one of these in NAR AI which may be better.

That was some gold advice! The robot performance increased exponentially in battle!
Here's the latest version

The original lower hinge is still there just to fill the gaps. It won't affect the wedginess at first contact

It's... messy.

It's too vague. What do you mean exactly?
Is it a problem of the symmetry of the components? weight balance? All components are symmetrical

Too complex? I have interest in building complex robots. I've built more than those that i post here but i only post those that are effective in battle as well

Also i rearranged the razor tips to make them align between themselves. I only noticed that after your post

Well you don't need the razors on the wedge. Also, could we get a shot of the robot from the side?

Sure

Those razors are useful to damage wheels. They are not there for nothing. They do damage and are effective

whats the armor
How you make Alarm Clock Pizza is:
Step 1: You buy an alarm clock from the store, and then you have to break it and put it in the sauce.
Step 2: Fold the sauce in 5 slices and put it in the dough.
Step 3: Paint the eggs with a pitcher of a clock showing what time you want to wake up and eat pizza for breakfast.
Step 4: Put the eggs in the dough.
Step 5: Make it flat into a round shape and draw the time you want on it.
Step 6: Put some old steel to prevent other peple from stealing it.
Step 7: Make it flat and cut into 60 slices 1 for each minute in 1 our.
Step 8: Put in the oven set the timer to 30048813.2884 seconds and put the temperature on 'Volcano' setting.
Step 9: If you think it is take to long, then get yor alarm clock and set it to now so that it will ring and you can take it out.
Step 10: Take it out uv the uvin wen it is redy and go to bed. In the morning eat pizza and also eat yor hands bi mistake.

Titanium 5mm

Wedge on the back seems pointless.

Actually it effectively prevents opponents from getting under the bot, if they successfully get behind it, even without requiring a metal hinge. That wedge saved me a good dozen times so i'll keep that way

Seems interesting that the wedge can get under other robots in the back.

The side picture is not clear but the back wedge, although fixed, is just a tiny bit lower than the entire chassis and might make perfect contact with the ground. Might be just the luck of a perfect alignment.
I can understand from your interest that it might not be normal but normal or abnormal, I'll keep it this way. It works, that's the main factor

If you want i can repost the pic but now i have to go sleep. It's 4 am here, lol

Here are some updates

Looks cool. I would build it up to 5000kgs but it your choice what you want to with it.

It was my attempt to build a 5000kg version of "Hideous beast" but it proved to be quite ineffective at higher weights. It now includes an additional burst motor, making it 5 burst motors as flippers!
Nothing more to say about it. It's pretty much the same as "Hideous beast" but a bit less agile. It will be the last bot of its kind for a while.

This one is certainly one of the most bizarre bots i ever made. Created mainly just for fun but proved to be a powerful opponent in most cases. It has a 360 degree turret with 4 flame throwers mounted on it. Painfully slow but this bot doesn't need speed.

>Every angle of attack will damage the opponent no matter what
>Mobile main weapon reduces the effort to hit the opponent
>Sacrifices agility for superior protection
>flippable but with the help of the turret in can upright

>Armor is far from being useful when the bot has no means to escape
>although scary looking, it's very small and easily tackled down and thrown

I attempted to create a better robot in terms of armor which could be agile and battle effective and this was the result. With only 1mm plastic armor e doesn't need more to survive and win a battle. It has 2 simple axes powered by burst motors.

>Protected from every angle. Superior armor and toughness
>Decent amount of weapons
>Low profile bot makes it hard to hit and can easily crawl below opponents

>Slow, drastically reducing its effectiveness in every way

2nd version upgraded with better motors but compromises wheel protection. This one keeps the burst axes too.

>Far more agile and faster, resulting in much better performance
>Same advantages as the other

>weapons power had to be reduced to allow the better motors to fit in it.
