I KNOW this one is gonna get a lot of criticism for its large chassis, weapon setup, and probably a lot more. The weapon setup is the way it is so that it is perfectly in line with the wheels and the bot is flat and smooth while running. I really want this bot to be as perfect as possible, so any comments would be greatly appreciated. This bot beats Lock Nut 9/10 times, usually without Lock Nut's weapons ever making contact with my bot. Weighs 248.2 and plastic 1 armor

If you're going for a replica of your real bot you did well. As for RA2, it's mediocre at best. You could shrink your chassis down to a cube and externally mount the drive motors so you can shave some weight to make your chassis armor better than TI 1.

Try and get a bar instead of whatever you put those weapons on :P

It could be a lot better anyway, you'd want atleast twmr motors on there for drive (npc's if you really want speed)
And swap those wheels for Vlads for the weight.
Don't really need the back skirts either.
And that chassis can be shrunk quite a bit

I wanted to keep this a secret, but this was going to be my battlebots 3 entry. How can I make it better and still follow the Battlebots 3 rules? (No extra small chassis, realistic, IRL capable, etc.) Please help me make it better and still able to qualify for BB3

Much smaller chassis, Plastice 5 armor since aluminum 3 weighs in at 350.0 :/ Um astroflights, vlads, 3 ants, and a weapon mounted on a hex plate, supported off of the ground by a 30cm plate. The new problem is that when I hit any other bot, I usually don't get any points unless I hit their wheels. Is that because of the position of the weapon

I could be wrong, but I think the spikes you are using have normal damage attributes.

If you want some damage potential, but a DSL bar on there and then attach beater bars on each end.  Beater Bars have nice damage potential, and if they get damaged and taken off... the DSL bar will still do damage as well.

Those weapons don't have normals iirc.

But do replace that setup with a dsl bar.

And is that a perm 80?

So I need to change the weapon setup to a DSL bar, but what should I use for weapons? I have no clue if beater bars have normal iirc, so I don't know which weapon setup to use. If you think I should use vlad pokers, then I can't use a DSL bar since the bot will be unrealistic. (Weapon runs through wheels)

They have normals, and jack, a DSL bar is even worse damage potential-wise than vlad spikes. Which are pretty decent for normaled weapons anyway.

And beater bars aren't even very damaging, we just do use them for the HP, the extender potential and the good fracture.

So Naryar, what weapon setup would you recommend on an undercutter robot like mine?

:FFFUUU Sorry to give bad advice... I still have much to learn.

I much prefer the good fracture aspect of Beater Bars though <3 <3 <3  Call me crazy.

I personally think that the Beater Bars, even the large ones, will fall off easily.  The vlad pokers have 5000 HP and the Large Beaters only have 2000. Suggestions? Will this design qualify for BB3?

To make your undercutter more effective, you can use a disc instead of a bar, but I doubt those exist in that weight class. Besides, a long spiky bar is cool. :P

Onto my next project, which will probably be my BB3 entry instead of the last one. Here is "Suicide Bomber". 3 ants, aluminum 3, astroflights lifted 2 "clicks up. 120 CM DSL bar with 30kg hammers on the end. So much weight left, not sure what to do with it.

More drive as in... better motors? Wheels? And stabilizers such as 40/80cm angled skirts on a skirt hinge?

Both and yes.

doubt you really need the poly extenders anyway (angle the hammers down)

They intersect with the wheels, making it unrealistic without the poly's
