Ok so put more razors on the skirt hinge. I get that part. How can I attach a small wedge onto a wedge? I don't quite understand that.

Small Wedge component. Attaches directly to a metal hinge.

Stack the black parts of skirt hinges. If you really don't manage to do it, you can put a motor on a hinge, make it spin, axle load it out of the way and put another skirt hinge on it, or just near it.

So kinda like this? I really have been building on DSL for a while now but beeing a newbie, I don't know or understand all of the terms so stick with me on that. Sorry if I frustrate anyone, but I just want to make things clear. I'm not even sure if this is right.

Lose the poly sheet and skirt hinges on the front, and replace them with a Metal Hinge. Attach the Small Wedge component to that, it'll give you much more leverage to get under opponents.

Yup. A double wedge like you have already is worthless.

So just 1 Metal Hinge with a small wedge attached? Like this? Now I have 7 razors and still have 20KG of weight left

Ok will do Pwnator. How do you think I should attach more razors? Another skirt hinge?

Just use a single skirt hinge and just add more extenders to the sides when necessary.

Ok I added 2 extenders and 2 razors. I didn't know whether to put the razors on the inner connection point on the added extenders, or put them on the outer connection point. Still have some weight left. Still Steel 1 Armor. Final suggestions?

Upgrade to Plastic 3. It provides significantly better armour than Steel 1, and is a MUCH more efficient armour choice.

Ok new problem. The bot is EXTREMELY front-heavy now, and it prevents me from getting any traction. I will be moving forward and then the bot leans forward and skids sideways across the arena. I think bigger wheels would help. Also, with the weird collision mesh of the skirt hinge, I can't angle it at all without the hinge touching the ground before the wheels. I have to angle it so far forward that the opponent barely even touches them. The damage dealt is insignificant. HELP PLEASE.

Download the Skirt Hinge collision mesh fix. It should be either in the Modifications and Design forum somewhere, or on JoeBlo's website (There's a link in his signature)

Curent Mouse Trap. Plastic 3, 9 razors. (Debating if I should move the 2 outer razors one more connection point over) Still a little weight left.

EDIT: Sorry for big and blurry crop :/

Please stop zooming so much in paint, it's not making it any better.

For the bot itself, it's OK, but the plastic extenders seem very weak, perhaps switching to Aluminum may help.

Try and just give the full shot, it isn't as blurry when you do so.

I appologize for the horrible crops. As for the bot, I upgraded to aluminum extenders. It weighs 244.? What else needs fixing?

What you could do, if you have the fixed skirt hinge, is mount a second skirt hinge just beside the first one. Which would get you 3 more razors for 1kg less than if you used poly extenders.
