It actually looks more like an IRL bot more than a DSL bot. You can either get bashed with ideas on how improve it or keep it IRL realistic. Choose the blue or red pill. *holds out 2 pills*

If you're wanting to go down the competitive road, you'd probably want to use two NPC Fasts and Hypno wheels for your drive, instead of four Piglets with Minis. You get better speed and torque, plus more weight left over for weapons and stuff. And you might want to swap the baseplate anchor for a multi extender.

@NFX: So Easliy a smaller chassis to go with the NPC Fasts and Hypno's I'm guessing? And should I go with the lighter control board? Oh and how many batteries would you suggest?

2, though if you have spare weight at the end a third wouldnt hurt too much.

You could use Sledgehammers for the weaponry, or beater bars (for relative long lastingness) or DS teeth, Razors (for damage) or a combination of Light DS teeth and Beater bars.

Try to always go with the lighter CB. It's slightly bigger but the 1kg could be vital. I use the Blue CB in my bots, and on my lightweights with the airtight chassis, they'd go over the limit without that extra kilo. But yeah, much smaller chassis, NPCFast/Hypnos, 2 ants, then weapons on the front, mounted on a MultiExtender (Like a baseplate anchor, but smaller, more useful, and less heavy).

On your bot, you might want to know that DSL bars only do damage with the sharp sides, not the flat front. Yes it doesn't makes any real sense, but it is RA2.

Dunno if you already read this. If you didn't, I suggest you do it.

@Nayrar: Yeah I read that article already and it was very helpful. I'm going with what other people are saying and putting razors on multi extenders. The purpose of the bot wasn't really to cause much damage, but to just shove my opponent around.

@SKBT: Oh that's great, thanks so much for the parking tip. Me and my dad were delighted to see that! This is our first time attending, so we won't really know our way around.  You are fighting in Motorama also right? If so, good luck, and looking forward to seeing you there. Thanks again

No I can't make it out to Moto this year. I've got prior commitments to my schools FIRST team. I wish I could make it out there though.

Good luck!

Ok cool. Should I add anything to the bot other than armor?
