Yeah, it's not fixed quite yet but I could do that. It's minor but, every KG counts. I want to move on to my next bots. So other than that is it ok?

I think he would be better with a total of 3 half-stacked skirt hinges, and it will indeed save 2 kg while removing fragile extenders.

You're back :D

Look at this which i recently made: https://gametechmods.com/uploads/images/96480Overkill%20vs.png (keep the weaponry and have bigger sheets with better drive if you can)

Basically, smaller chassis
Get rid of the baseplate connectors
Don't stack batteries

Use Multi Extenders instead of Baseplate Anchors. Get other wheels like Vlads or Hypno's.

Use multi extenders.

Also go and have a look at Craaig's showcase.

@ty4er: Wow yours looks sooo much better than mine! Love that design. I'll swap out the extenders, shrink the chassis, and replace the wheels with hypnos. Hopefully I can make it better! Thanks for the advice.

Thanks everyone else also. I'll make the changes when I get home.

At first I saw it and thought "that's a pretty good MW." Then I saw the weight...

Welcome back, anyways.

Well, here's my newest version of the bot. What else needs to be improved? Plastic 1 Armor, 3 Ants.

I'd ditch the flipper extenders, get 120 cm skirts and mount the motors on the back of those.

Try get wide ant wheels. They have more grip if I remember correctly.

You should move the multi-extender holding the weapon motor as far forward as possible, and use a shorter belt length version of that motor.
And i'd say you should do what conraa said and see if you can also get a caster on the bottom of the chassis.

If I shorten the motor length, it will be unrealistic since the weapon will run through the chassis. I'll do the 120 cm skirt idea and I'll move the multi-extender forward (The weapon one) I angled my weapon on purpose, is that a good idea?

I'd feel, personally, that you got too much weight on that motor, but if it works for you fair enough, just doesn't look like it has punting potential. If you got rid of a hammer, you could upgrade a lot of stuff and make it a lot less fragile. But that's just me and my defensive ways.

EDIT: Yeah, I see you followed Ty's advice and went for the fragile VS style. If you wanted something a little more durable...

Um when I try to put my wheels on the motors that are connected to the skirt hinges, it won't let me put them on. And I can't resize my chassis so that both multi-extenders are positioned so that the 120 cm skirt hinges don't intersect with the chassis. It's hard to explain without visually showing you. Please help!!!

@Craaig: The only reason I chose the fragile model was to get the 3rd weapon on it. I think I like yours better though since it's more durable. Hmmm...

You need to snapper load the wheels on.

2 hammers is good, 3 is more for if you want to completely outweapon the others whilst having not much defense.
But it does looks look quite good.

Keep the flipper extenders, get 80cm alu sheets and perhaps upgrade the drive (those wheels haven't got much hp)
Or get 120cm and axle load the wheels on.
If you can, add some protection to the chassis.
