One paint job later.
I remember that game! It was amazingly good fun! =D Great skin job.
Admittedly, the Croc sponsor was more of an afterthought. I asked myself "What is crocodile related that I can shove on this as a sponsor that isn't my little pony?"
Then I thought of that. Tommorow i'm digging out my copy of Legend Of The Gobbos as a result. Loved that game. :D
I might re do the skin colours to make the bot croc themed instead of Gummy themed.

Because you all loved King Crab, right?
But yeah. The collision mesh on the hammer and extender screw up, no matter what I do. Help?

Sounds like AGOD. Mount it on a static component instead of the skirt hinge, and that should eliminate it.

NFX It's on a NPC fast. I think it may have something to do with the smartzone. Maybe.
The skirt hinge is for the dsl bar :P

Sometimes it happens with you attach it to a motor. Any particular reason it's on an NPC Fast? I can imagine that's possibly unrealistic if it goes all the way around. Remove the sledgehammer and extender, Pause, go into the Test Garage and back, keep the game paused, attach the Extender, switch tabs and back, attach the Sledgehammer, then unpause the game. That should keep it from AGODing. If not, the repeat the process, but remove and reattach the motor as well.

1) Well, King Crab followed exactly the same principle and that was accepted.
And for a real life example see this http://www.fightingrobots.co.uk/forum/viewtopic.php?f=240&t=4493 That goes all the way around. I know it's not built yet but still.
2) I'll try the pause method now. Thanks.

Yeah, when I was trying to think of an example I had a mind blank. Thanks SKBT.

I think you would need a narrow "waist" in the chassis dividing it into two halves to do the 360 degree hammer thing IRL though.

As for the AGOD, try using a different motor.  I've had the same problem with NPC's, and I've found Piglets AGOD less (which is why I use one in Bisector).  As long as you use some counterweight, a Piglet can easily lift a 30kg sledgehammer.

To lack feeling is to be dead, but to act on every feeling is to be a child.

Thing is I used a NPC Fast in King Crab and that worked fine.
Maybe if I try a Piglet and use the spare 15kg on a tornado spike...?

Eh, I agree with Click on the "waist".

Also, I REALLY want King Crab on the exchange. Because it is just that awesome (and because I just really want it XD)

One attempt at skinning later.
I'm going to try and edit the chassis skin a bit. I'm not too happy with it at the moment for some reason. And possibly the face.

Hence why I'm making Bisharp :P

I haven't been building that many new robots/designs lately, I've been putting more effort in to skinning the crap out of the select few robots I have been making and entering into tourneys.
That said, i'd like to introduce you to the failed four:

Not Constantinople: A rejected entry for Home and Away, I just preferred SHW-Miss America

Now some robots which I made for BB3.
Happy: The Littlest Robot: A quick robot to make, made it, shoved 2 npc fasts in it. Boring.
Memo To Human Resources: I was SO CLOSE to entering this into BB3, but when the disc span up the whole bot would flip and I have no idea how to fix that. So it made way for Crab Jr.
Wintergreen: Treading the damage/realisticness line is annoying! I could imagine this one failing dismally in combat against rammers, so I moved on.

Wait, doesn't Crab Jr conflict with the "no weapons hitting the ground at the beginning" rule? it had shark teeth IIRC...

I asume you're a huge fan of They Might Be Giants....

Anyways I had the same probem that Memo to Human Resources had on a middle weight. I like all the designs though.
