When the game makes the component red it means it can't be mounted on that point. The problem here is that DSL bots in this competition need to be realistic in the "pass through" reguard. If that bot was made in real life... the razor tips would just chop each other off. If you make a weapon cut through a chassis point in a realistic way (as in, not through vital parts like a battery or motor) then that is ok. But razors chopping off razors is not realitistic.

That's why stacking is possible in stock.

No worries, man. People make mistakes all the time. You don't have to rebuild the whole thing. Just fix the weapon setup and you're done.

too bad. u have to have a realistic bot for dsl tournaments and intersection weapons would be REAL hard in real life lol. Just try making the bot with smaller discs or more of an angle

Well I'm not really that concern I just got space them out. What I'm concern with is stacking:redface:. Is stacking batteris really that un realistic???. I think I got to get rid of the the 2 ramplates to because I mounted the base plate above the the bottom ones:(.Dam I had no idea DSL was played like this would of saved me some time If I knew before hand lol

It's not so much stacking, but more rather, the setup being not realistic (the weapon must be more "straight").

Ok well for hear on out I'm going to post inside screenshots so I know what I can't do but I'm still not clear on the batteries though can they be stacked or not It seems u could possibly do it in real life but I really don't know, if someone could answer this for me I'm all set to back to drawing board ;D

"Stacking" batteries is basically making them intersect - which they simply cannot do in real-life. Therefore, stacking batteries isn't legal in any currently known DSL tournaments.
