You must win something with Fever 3.

Doesn't the bar on the spinner slice through the top of the angled shell panel on Fever 3?

But its still awesome. :P

Yes it does. As it does on Fever 2. But none of the angled panels are short enough to prevent that, and I hardly think that tiny extra bit of panel is gonna win me any more matches. In fact, it makes it more likely to fall off as theres more for opponents to hit. It's hardly as if popup weapons don't go through panels of armour, so I don't see the problem.

And thank you NFX :D I'm really fond of these latest ones.

Me too, I really like your drive setup on Fever 3. It should actually be quite hard to hit the chassis now unless one of its skirts comes off.

The design on Fever 3 is great. It looks nearly impossible to get to the chassis. Juggernaut (if you still have it) is not as good. I would shrink the chassis and use less batteries.

Well, if you're talking about Battalion (the follow-up to Juggernaut that I posted) it's pretty hard to shrink the chassis much more, and it really does need those batteries to fully power the bursts (even 1 less seems to kill the power).

Thanks for the comments on F3, anyway :D

No problem with F3.

I understand with Battalion.

A small concept-bomb here. Although some are just improvements or edits.

HeartAttack - Tried making an undercutting HS, and to make it as flush as possible, put the motors on limited axles. Doesnt seem great at dealing damage... any help?
Oh, and it also has a habit of doing this.

Next, Expose. Guess why it's called that. Is it any good? My first attempt at a dual LW VS.

Now Beaver. Like Fever, but smaller. Seems about as good as Fuel, which is really something considering that thing had a cheaty motor.

Finally Blood Orange 2 - need definate help here. Gets beaten by the original, but the layout on this is better (I think). I think it's due to the lack of back support, it flips back quite easily, and the skirts are weaker than on the originals. Any advice?

On the undercutting HS, you might want to consider downgrading to a Perm 132. A Dual Perm HS (I know this) Has a horrendous tendency to gyro dance. I'd probably give it a smaller disc, too, just so I could throw more weapons on there. If you need any more ideas for it, you could take a look at Wedges Are Somewat Nutritious in my showcase. ;)

Expose, I'd try and look at some way of protecting those TWMR3's. I made the same mistake with Wheels Are Tasty 2. And those discss have normals, IIRC. Try giving each of them a bar and some Heavy DS Teeth.

Beaver, change the Micro Wheels for Hypnos. If you're struggling for the weight, I think the chassis could be narrowed by something like 2 pixels to get the .1kg you need.

On Heartattack, do you have anything on the bottom of the disc to keep off the ground? You should know the rule of weapons touching the ground.

Never heard of such a rule. Will do something about that, and I have a few ideas :)

weapons touching the ground do not deal any damage, excepted aganst other weapons.

@NFX: hypnos would be too fast for such a design.

For the wheeling on HeartAttack You might want to stick a long skirt off the back. Oh, and maybe decrease the disc size for better damage. I don't know if I'm giving bad advice, but It seems disc sixe to weapon size is a bit off.

Larger discs deal more damage with the same motor and weapon, but take up more time to spin up to speed.

Larger discs deal more damage with the same motor and weapon, but take up more time to spin up to speed.

That makes sense, 'cause it's travelling at the same angular velocity, but it has a bigger radius, so the speed at the edge of the disc (Where the weapons are) would increase. I'm not sure if the weight of the larger disc would slow it down at all.

I should go and check with Click's RPM-meter special py.

I can imagine it might slow it down a fair amount, but with a weapon like this on an HW, I shouldn't think it'd make too much of a difference not to be effective.

A dual perm is quite a lot for 120 kg of weapons anyway.

400kg on a Dual Perm seems about right for Weapons Are A Good Snack.
