Well, I've got hooked to DSL now. Don't expect to see much more stock for a while. not that you're missing out
And another way to prove I'm bad, I've only managed to pull off one *decent* bot in the 2 weeks or so I've been on DSL.

~~oh and PLEASE forgive me for my really crappy background on the insides. Hopefully your eyes don't burn. Hopefully.~~

use the other ap of the control board and put it as far back as possible, that might make it realistic.

its really not that bad of a first bot compared to some other peoples, stop putting yourself down

This isn't too bad for a first bot at all. Also do what Mr.AS said with the control board and it should be realistic.

Why in the Nine Hells do you use crappy backgrounds when you know they're crappy, and most especially when it is easier to use a normal background ?!?!?

and while nothing special by average building standards, it's pretty good for a showcased first bot. Don't go and underappreciate yourself.

Also an AW coming up that i put together in 10 mins. Most of the work was not making it havok uncontrollably.

Using a mini control board makes it havok to the Moon and back.

You should downgrade to a piglet since they have 8,000 hp compared to 400 hp of your current motor. Then you should be able to get better weapons on.

it is a bad spinner

do you mean is the disc on a spinner? if so yes

the spinner is on a burst because back then i didn't know the wonders of skirt hinges

I'll let someone more uptodate help you with most of it, but I would recommend not using the ice-picks on the last one, and also not using Polycarbonate extenders to hold any weapons on a spinner on, as it will break very easily.

We don't like unrealistic DSL as a general rule of thumb, unless it is so cool no one cares about unrealistic-ness.

You can showcase whatever you want here (as long as it is DSL), but don't expect to enter this in the majority of DSL tournaments.
